No matter how old his sermons are and have been heard by me, G.E.Patterson was one preacher that touches my heart every time!!! He is truly missed, and I thank GOD for his ministry.

I can’t stop crying. My mom loved him. She died of breast cancer. She said the same thing he said about either way the Lord moves it is his will. He called her home too ❤️

I am a frequent critic of the Pimps in the Pulpit that exploit the Black Community to live lavish lifestyles. I watched this preacher on Sundays and he struck me as genuine and not in it for just money. He is one of the handful of preachers that have my respect and I am sure his church and community misses him.

Even though he has left this Earth I still enjoy hearing him preach he reminds me so much of my grandfather my grandfather was a Baptist Minister he start ministering at the age of 19 when he passed away he was ninety-two years old here to different churches that he was the pastor of he was at 1 church for 47 years and another for 52 years never once in my whole life have I heard my grandfather raised his voice unless he was preaching in the holy Spirit had came down upon him this is the same way I feel about Bishop Patterson love sharing him love it

Pastor Patterson had a shepherd’s heart. Beautiful seeing his tenderness, helping his congregation navigate through God’s sovereign will through his illness.

WOW! This was so powerful, When he start singing at 9:50, (Emotional) you can see the glory all over his face, Bishop was ready. I'm baptist, but I think Bishop Patterson was everybody's pastor, There will never be another one like this great man of GOD!

Dr. Charles Wallace was my doctor. I went in treatment and he treated me as a doctor and prayed for me as a saint. He prophesied over me. I wasn’t ready but he did his job as a saint of God!

Bishop was a GREAT LEADER..He imparted so much into my life. I miss him. So much...he was a serious MAN OF GOD.

If our love could have saved GE Patterson, he would be here right now. This man was not just loved by his congregation but worldwide too. To me he was almost like a father, as others may have felt that too, just the way he looked at everyone's face with love, and care. He's the beginning of my testimony to when I first began my journey to know God, back in the 80s. As I was going through something bad dealing with work related stress,almost to a breaking point, crying as I drove to work,not wanting to go there. And one morning I heard GE Patterson on my car radio speaking, and I heard. His words were so comforting, giving me faith,hope,belief and trust in God. I believe why I heard him is he spoke every word so clear, taking his time,not running them together. Then he played a Shirley Caesar song, and she was my next inspiration. I just felt their heart, their genuine love to help those hurting. He has helped bring many souls to Christ, and we know God is very pleased with soul saver. It's hard for many to realize our outer body is just a shell that houses our soul. It's the soul that is more precious to God. Our soul is beautiful, and Bishop G.E.Patterson saved a lot of us from hell's fire. "Well done thou good and faithful servant". His spirit lives on. Words cannot express.✌❤

I often visit this video because he helps me be reminded that when you go through.... you don’t stop! Even when you’re stricken with Illness. He moved in a wisdom that was beyond emotions. I’m humbled by a man that even in his dying hours helped give me the life I needed. Forever grateful for the life you led Bishop!

I’ll never forget the day my father came home and told my family and I that Bishop Patterson passed, in 07... I remember being upset, at age 5 back then because I couldn’t believe a man that powerful was gone... I indeed did look up to that man very much (still do). I remember seeing him at AIM and Holy Convocation in 2006 and although he was ill, he always had a smile on his face and everyone was just so happy to see him. I’ll never forget when I would watch him preach on tv before Sunday services. This video brought back a lot of nostalgia 🙏🏽😅

I never knew or heard of Bishop G.E.Patterson while he was living. But in these last couple of years, he has blessed me thru GOD'S Word even after his death. 💯 ❤ "Blessed are they who die in the Lord. They shall rest from their labor. And their good works shall follow them." TO GOD BE THE GLORY 👋

I grew up COGIC, admittedly I struggle with some of the antics. But Bishop Patterson was a real encouragement to me. I never saw this video, it's 4:30am at the time I'm watching this. Almost 4 years ago I went to the E.R / E.D. because I had pain I couldn't get rid of. From the E.R. I was taken to the Liver Transplant Department, I had never smoked, drank alcohol etc like good COGIC ppl do. But I was told that I needed surgery on my gallbladder but if they injure my liver accidentally I would die. The Transplant doctor visited me privately w/o the team. He was confident he could do it. I said ok let's do it, I only told my family, they prayed and the surgery was successful. I had no idea what was next but things went way down hill. Just like Bishop I asked ppl in church not to lay hands on me, no oil and don't keep telling me God would heal me. I ended up in the hospital again and in the bed next to me was a brother from my church. I tried to hide from the visitors, church folk praying, preaching, laying hands etc. When visiting hours were over I pulled my curtain back, the Spirit said that brother wouldn't leave alive. About 2 days later he transitioned. I had / have no idea what God intends to do with me, God said I would see times when I felt well but it's not unto physical healing. I've seen dark angels on two occasions which represents death but obviously God said not yet. I am having my home renovated for my wife, I feel the urgency to get it done. My body is crumbling and I live in pain and grace. I, like Paul and Bishop, look forward to glory. God knows when it's time and I rest in that. The way God comforts me, directs me is the greatest blessing on this side. He is saying to me and perhaps some of you...I'm fully aware, just be faithful until I take you home. That is so loving ❤ ❤. I understand what Bishop was saying but I'm so glad he was honest in his confusion and years later I'm comforted by his testimony. Pray that I remain faithful even as my body declines and I will do the same for you. I love our Lord so much.

When my Grandma couldn't go to church anymore she watch him every Sunday on T.V. until he died she loved him!

I attended a Holy Convocation of his, and as he and his armour bearers walked into the sanctuary God walked right in with them. I knew it was God because I have felt his presence before. I could hardly contain myself. I know God is real, for me it is not just a song. My dad watched his services and gave his life to Christ Jesus. R.I.P. Bishop

I've enjoyed this servant of GOD, all of us will leave this World, my grandparents used to say , "you leaving here". I'm a white man grew up around the black church, and loved to hear black Preachers proclaim HIS word. Someone on here question if he was in Heaven yet, Paul wrote to be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD, we know his body is in the ground, we saw him laying in repose , but whatever he is with the LORD.

I find it admirable that Bishop Blake was with his friend the day Bishop Patterson was most vulnerable but chose to be resilient.

Bishop G. E Patterson, had no thought in wanting anything but to be with the Lord and do right...He still continued the work. I recall that he missed our Annual Holy Convocation in First Jurisdiction of Illinois, but he was connected via satellite by telephone and spoke then...He kept HOLINESS in the Church of God in Christ....

Now this is a man of God. I found this channel by accident today & I am crying seeing this man speaking. After all the scandals that have come out the last year, it is awesome to see a good preacher like I did when I was a little girl. We need men of God like this again.

I am feeling very heartbroken watching this. I lost my grandmother(who was a Bishop) due to having colon cancer. It is very essential for us especially in the black community to take care of our bodies. Go to the doctor regularly and pay close attention to our bodies.

Been a bit down these past few months, but these videos have kept me lifted.It Would have been an absolute pleasure to meet him, he was a real solidified man of GOD!
