Mary is Theotokos (Mother of God), not just Christotokos (Mother of Christ)! By calling her Christotokos, that means the divine & human nature of Jesus aren't in one essence. That means, Jesus was once NOT the THEOS/GOD. Jesus was, is, & will always be THEOS. Hence, we call Mary Theotokos.

Mary is not only the Mother of God but our Blessed Mother as well our Intercessor with Jesus too. She is also the only human being who was born without original sin which is why she is called by the Catholic Church as the Immaculate Conception, the name which she revealed to St. Bernadette in Lourdes. In addition, she is honoured (not worshipped) as the Queen of of Heaven by virtue of the fact that she is the mother of Jesus, who is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

@@ACDZ123 The teaching of the Catholic Church that Mary is our Intercessor is based on the miracle of Jesus turning water into wine at the wedding feast in Cana when She said to Him “they have no wine - St. John Chapter 2 Verse 3”. For Catholics, this is an implicit request by Her to Jesus on behalf of the host who, obviously, underestimated how much he would need for the feast. This teaching has been validated by the several miracles that have taken place in Lourdes by those who have sought Her intercession, in particular, for illnesses that were certified by doctors as incurable. In this regard, while this teaching of the Catholic Church is not specifically mentioned in the Bible, it has been given the authority through St. Peter, the first Pope, and his successors by Jesus when He told him “I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven - St. Mathew Chapter 16: Verses 18-19”. All Catholics believers, including me, accept this teaching on Mary. As someone who has been given a free will, you can agree or disagree with me but that does not change my belief in what I know to be true.

@@josevarela834 She was declared as the Immaculate Conception, namely, conceived without original sin, by the Catholic Church in 1854 and when asked Her name by St. Bernadette when she appeared to her around 1858, Mary said "I am the Immaculate Conception". You seem to forget that we are all created by God and if he chose to create Mary without original sin no one question Him and the Catholic Church was absolutely correct in giving her the title of "The Immaculate Conception".

Mary was a joung Jewish woman who believed in God. She as an offspring of Adam and Eve had inherited the rebellious nature. She needed the redemption of Christ as anyone else needs it. Jesus is ETERNAL. Mary was from the earth. She needed to be born again. "Mother of God" is blasphemy because it is impossible (unless Mari Emmanuel make this story a 'mystery' and the chapter closed). I think, Mari Emmanuel does not like to understand what 'mystery for man' is all about. Mary, the daughter of Joakhim and Anna, was a simple girl got married to Joseph. God's plan for Mary revealed to her by angel Gabriel and Joseph wanted to put away her secretly. But Joseph was told God's plan in the night (in a dream) and both of them accept God's plan. Both Mary and Joseph led a holy life till the end of their lives. Both of them were blessed by God to take care of Yeshua. Most probably, Joseph died earlier than Yeshua because we have only the mother of Yeshua standing by the cross. Mary, being a virgin, blessed with grace (not holiness) from God and Yeshua was born to her by the Holyspirit (miraculous birth of Yeshua). Mary also needed redemption through the blood of Yeshua...ofcourse, we believe she achieved it. We do honor her as the best Christian woman ever and follow her exemplary life-events. Roman catholic Church made a mess of everything from top to bottom - created a doctrine and imposed on to the simple gullible people to believe the lie. That is why, even Mari Emmanuel loses his cool often...
