Six men took a big step on their journey to the priesthood on June 1 as they were ordained deacons for the Diocese of Charlotte. Bishop Michael Martin performed the ordinations at St. Mark Church in Huntersville, only two days after his ordination as the fifth Bishop of Charlotte on May 29.
