I echo the comment of my namesake. Great homily in so many ways. Seek Adoration, start a Rosary Crusade. Bishop Phonsie rightly states that we take Our Blessed Mother by the hand when we pray the Rosary. Its quite something else that we do to Her Heart when we remain silent about the greatest blight on the country of Ireland in its history. Abortion is an abomination to God and yet we sit in our Churches and rarely hear a whisper of this outrage. Abortion devastates a person, a family and a society. Even an conglomerate like ‘planned parenthood’ who killed 1,500 children each day of last year in the US, through their own Institute of research; the Guttmacher Institute, willingly and openly admit that abortion causes what they refer to as ‘mental issues’ in 81% of mothers! Those mothers have in excess of 200% increased risk of alcohol abuse, and over 300% increase risk of drug abuse. Ireland is on the same path. By continually voting for pro-abortion candidates in elections, we are filling our barns with blighted spoil. Let me finish by thanking all who attended Knock and honored our Blessed Mother.
