Deputy Buganda Katikiro Owek. Robert Waggwa Nsibirwa Launches the new sustainable Baby Diapers called Mwana Diapers a new line of eco-friendly baby diapers designed to meet modern parenting needs while prioritizing environmental conservation from the family of the Bishop Emeritus James William Ssebaggala aimed at promoting sustainability and health within the communities.
The Launch took place during the thanksgiving of Bishop Emeritus James William and Maama Ssebagala at their home in Kibooba Kisowera Mukono Diocese Kyaggwe. During the launch Owek. Robert Waggwa Nsibirwa underscored the importance of sustainability in contemporary living. "As custodians of our environment and culture, we must embrace solutions that promote both ecological balance and the well-being of our children," he stated passionately. Mwana Diapers, he emphasized, represents a significant step towards reducing environmental impact without compromising on quality or comfort.
He, therefore, pledged to support the innovation and popularize the innovation in the kingdom.
This important ceremony was presided over by Archbishop His Grace Stephens Kazimba Mugalu and served as a touching tribute to the life and service of Bishop Ssebagala and his wife through the scripture “I have none all this through Christ who strengthens me”.
The Archbishop, a figure of great reverence, led the proceedings with grace and solemnity, reflecting on the couple's dedication and contributions to their community and faith.
He later praised the government for working on the roads in the country and strongly condemned those who resort to burning roads during demonstrations. He emphasized the need for peaceful protests and respect for public infrastructure.
In his remarks, Bishop Ssebaggala expressed heartfelt gratitude to God for the journey he and his family have traveled thus far.
His words resonated with deep appreciation for the blessings, challenges overcome, and the steadfast faith that has guided them through every milestone.
Among the dignitaries in attendance were ministers from both the central government and the Buganda government including Gen. Katumba Wamala, Minister of Transport, Owek. Joyce Nabbosa Ssebugwawo, State Minister of ICT, Hon. Amos Lugolobi, State Minister of Finance and Planning, Rev. Peter Bakaluba Mukasa, Mukono District Chairperson, Fumbe Clan Elder Jjaja Walusimbi, various bishops, commissioners, MPs, and numerous well-wishers from across the region.
They also contributed to the festive atmosphere, highlighting the profound impact of Bishop Ssebagala and his family.
"We should support such innovative ideas like Mwana Diapers," stated Owek. Joyce Nabbosa Ssebugwawo, Minister of ICT recognizes the importance of sustainable solutions in today's world.
