2000 thousand men, 50 thousand tons of steel, set the course for the Atlantic with the Allies on the heel, firepower, firefight! Battle stations keep your targets ready in sights
Wow! The Kreigsmarine rises again! (in scale) My favorite WWII battleships are the: Iowa class, 🇺🇸 North Carolina class, 🇺🇸 Bismarck class, 🇩🇪 Scharnhorst class, 🇩🇪 Yamato class, 🇯🇵 King George V class. 🇬🇧 👍
Yeah, but the Nelson weren't as practical compared to the the ships, because they were slow... But hey, the Rodney sank the bismark(sorta...) with its huge guns, sooooo....
Great work I'm also working on the following 1 . Bismarck 2 . Tirpitz 3 . Prinz Eugen 4 . Admiral Graf Spee 5 . King George V 6 . Prince of Wales 7 . H M S Hood 8 . I J N Yamato 9 . I J N Mogami 10 . I J N Mutsu 11 . I J N I -19 Sub 12 . I J N. - 400 Sub 13 . USS Arizona BB -39 14 . USS San Francisco CA -38 15 . USS North Carolina BB- 55 16 .USS Hornet CV - 8 17 . USS Missouri BB-63 18 . USS Fletcher DD - 445 19 . USS Buchanan DD-484 19 . USS Gearing DD-710 All of the above mentioned are 1 : 350 scale . For anyone who's wondering . I have a Very Large workshop and as I'm waiting for paint or part to dry I rotate to the next model . Most of the time I see witch kits use the same color (s) to start with . In this case it was Hull Red . I'm use to doing large projects like this . Once I helped out a war gamer by practically rebuilding the Imperial Japanese Navy in 1 : 700 scale and if I remember right that was about some 25- 35 ships for him to pick from . After I completed his project , I jokingly said that I had P M S ( Professional Modeler Syndrome ) . Lol
I wish i had some model ships but i cant complain about not having a ship even if its not a model my uss enterprises aircraft carrier im restoring is going to be my pride and beauty that is if i can find parts to help with its restoration
Phantastic Model - Great Work ! Maybe build i the Bismarck in the next Time, then your Vids over the build this Ship have me infected to do this myself.
Great idea, spending hundreds of millions of euros on an outdated war machine without any purpose other than reminding people of a war nobody wants to be reminded.
If i would be a multi billionaire, i would build one. Just because we have alteady enough luxury liners on the seas. This is different and a great idea to make holiday with style
Wow it looks really great! I have the Tamiya <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="95">1:35</a>0 Bismarck. I built LEDs in my Bismarck and put 80 figures on it. That was a little difficult but it looks not bad. But your's is a masterpiece 😆😉.
Thanks for the time you put into filming this. I inherited a half built Version of this model from a much loved uncle of my wife. His son asked me to finish it. I was finding it pretty slow going identifying all the parts saved for later and picking up the threads half way through. Then I discovered your series and following it through put me on track. I am at episode 131. I must say you are a genius with super glue. It takes me a lot longer to get the brass parts to stick like you do. Anyway I hope mine appears half as good as yours. I also have a personal interest as my father was in B turret on the Rodney during the engagement. Thanks again.
I was collecting the same set, but i gave up because it was to expensive. I've mannaged to gather all the wooden pieces and built the main hull frame. Now I'm using small and perfectly cut sticks for various dioramas
After 10 years, I Just started working on my Bismarck again and your videos are extremely helpful. Actually, I can't find anyone else on the internet who documented the entire process of building this masterpiece. And looking at all the comments here, I'm glad that all your hard work is appreciated by people. Great job and thank you for this
@@sssbznzn hitler was not a dictator , he was a german chancellor elected by the German people . Also I know that this ship is Bismarck , I just want to know the scale and the manufacturer for this kit .
You should be very proud of yourself, the attention to detail is amazing and truly does the Bismarck justice, I hope this still takes pride in your home today many years after building it.!
I am making a model of HMS Hood but in a smaller scale (<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="67">1:7</a>00) and even if it was larger, I doubt I could do as good and detailed a job as this 😮
Brilliant work friend, how did you manage to paint the baltic camouflage. You've put a lot of work into this stunning and best battleship ever build. [in my few] Very well done.
@@ghostdiaries369, i play that too! I have almost all the ships except for MO, Montana, shima, graf, midway and wisconsin...I have others and some premiums for free like musashi etc...
@@ghostdiaries369, username is ManiacalBubble115 and no idea about my id XD, I hardly play that game other than world of warships. My WOWs is : Maniacal300 in the clan OZI. I play BOWs when I went to places without connection.....
Is it true the Bismarck got sunk on its very first run in the North Atlantic sea Jeez just think what all the techs and engineers must have thought after all that time and labor to put that monster together
WOW!! what an excellent model totally superb, the sailors are fantastic. did you make them yourself?. I have followed this video through all the episodes you Sir are a Master builder respect to you. I am building the Hood shortly and will follow your video diary through to the end. Thank you for all your hard work you should be proud of yourself for a fantastically built model
What ? No 1/200 scale coffee cups to be left in strategic locations ? What is a scale model ship without coffee cups ? Great model by the way, really impressive (even if it doesn't have the coffee cups) Thanks for sharing...it's inspiring.
A magnificent model. Thanks for posting. Based on the size of the figures, I'd have to guess <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="70">1:10</a>0 scale. Is that correct?
Pride of a nation a beast made of steel Bismarck in motion king of the ocean he was made to rule the waves across the 7 seas to lead the war macine to rule the waves and lead the KREIGSMARINE the terror of the seas the Bismarck and the KREIGSMARINE
Hi, one question, the model that comes with Hachette's issues is actually the same <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="80">1:20</a>0 model made by Amati?
This model is FANTASTIC! Though I think the canvas coverings of the gun barrels on the Main and Secondary battery would look better with a light grey rather than the same color as the deck planking.
Massive respect for how much time it took to do this. I get bored after an hour of just doing a simple car model I cant imagine the time it took for a model this big. Massive respect bro!
I'm afraid that the beast superestructure is too dark . My photo collection and same books show her painted in a semi gloss almost neutral light grey of the pre war scheme
