Modern advancement in porcelain tile and paver technology has progressed to a point that they can deliver superior strength and beauty at affordable price points. Very cool system - we were looking at using it but ultimately moved away because I didn't want to be locked into their tile materials - would be cool if they offered an Azek tile!

Not to mention that in places like Florida, those tile will shield the roof from the sun and last longer probably.

really smart products/system! i've been bouncing between sloped or gable LiteDeck ICF for a Casita (aprox 15'x50'), but this brings me back to an earlier idea i had for a rooftop bedroom. had kinda scrapped it, due to no idea on how to maintain drainage with a flat traffic/living surface... but this is really interesting. what's the max slope angle these will handle, 1/4" vert for every 12" horz? i'd still need to design a way to weatherproof a murphy-bed system, and snow also seems challenging. i'm a cheap bastid, lol, so a lot of typical solutions are out of my scope sometimes.

I made a murphy bed system with no hardware. I made a flat torsion box with rounded legs on one end, so it easily rocks up against the wall. Two legs at that side fold up and then it is just the rocker legs to the inside of the frame about 10% of the way. My wife can lift a Queen mattress and frame now by her self.

Hi there, thank you for the great video, I was wondering if you would mind to tell me the thickness of your tile? As I have been told that I must use thickness of 15mm plus…

I AM LIVING IN THE PHILIPPINES AND WANT TO INSTALL A ROOFING SYSTEM LIKE YOURS. WHAT TYPE OF TILE DID YOU USE?

Specifically mine are bison pedestals, but I know a guy in foshan China who sells nice ones, they are tariffed too high to import to USA but you can probably get them cheap!

Do you do projects in the central illinois area?

I don’t, but I can get you fox blocks and other supplies drop shipped at a heck of a deal!

@@all3pools I’ll keep that in mind. How can I contact you? I’m having trouble finding a builder locally that has experience working with ICF. The rest have no interest in using it.
