Bisping likes Usman more than he likes Leon. Leon unintentionally diminished Bisping’s claim of being a British champ by saying that he didn’t win it from UK but he won it in America because Bisping left England to train in America. Leon did aswell but returned and won it UK based

Bisping is a great person for this type of up close and personal interview. He was definitely on the receiving end of multiple highlight finishes but kept his composure and retired HOF’er and a defending champion.

The funny thing is in contrast to what he’s saying, Kamaru was very attached to the P4P hype train. He talked about fighting Canello, going up two weigh classes to fight Jan, all in the name of P4P. In some ways, that P4P status was a bad distraction to a seemingly dominant champ.

To be fair, that could also have just been a way to generate hype / make ppl tune in for fights. Hes not the typical lay and pray wrestler but even he has a little trouble selling his fights and maxing his PPV points compared to other pure strikers. And that canelo thing was just all smoke and mirrors instigated by ali lol i think usman knew there was no chance in hell hes ever getting the canelo fight.

I have said it for the past two years now. Covington and usman are my two favorite fighters and favorite fighters change for fans but as of today they are still my favorite. They just don’t have any Quit in them. I feel like Usman is going to dominate but then again, he just got knocked out six months ago, so maybe he may not see punches coming like he used to.
