Cool machine.. love the translucent panel below the handle with the bubbles pattern. This looks like a great carpet washer.. I love my Bissell carpet washer. I bought the ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Upright, Model 1548. It works great and I love the light clean mode that allows the carpet to dry a lot faster. Thanks for sharing Roger, I love watching you unboxing things because it's so helpful seeing the steps to assembly done properly by you. Take care!
It does a great job, but I need to find some dirtier carpets than my own to really test it on. I wish I took it to the last holiday cottage as those carpets needed a deep clean after vacuuming them with the Shark.
They are both good and personally I don't find much of a difference in performance. The Premier is better for larger homes as it has a bigger capacity, but the Deluxe is a bit easier to handle.
Hi , Really enjoyed watching your videos . I’ve defiantly decided on a Bissell but wanted your option on which one. It’s a minefield. I know I want an up right I have a four bedded house, one puppy and all that goes with a puppy ! My budget is £200 to £250 . Would really appreciate your help . Many thanks Michele
As prices vary, I suggest you Google the model and see who has it at the moment. The TV shopping channel I bought mine from no longer sells Bissell. Sometimes it is cheaper to buy direct from Bissell's website, especially if you use the code BISS10 to get a further 10% off.
I have demonstrated the Vax Dual Power Pro and Total Home models. The Total Home seemed good at cleaning, but left the carpet far too wet so I sold it. It also had to be replaced as the belt melted and damaged some of the interior plastics within five minutes of turning it on. I have no plans to buy any more Vax carpet washers and as soon as my Mum's Dual Power Pro fails, she will be getting a Bissell.
You need to assemble it using screws? Wasn't all you needed to assemble a Hoover a coin? And that was years ago! Dyson does the same things. Only thing I need to assemble and maintain my DC25 is a coin and that machine isn't particularly new either. To make matters worse, you don't need a screwdriver to remove the nozzle, so they knew that you can make things consumer friendly. Sorry Bissel, but that's just embarassing. (And no, just because I am not pleased with the machine being unboxed, I wasn't the one to give the video a dislike.)
A lot of the upright cleaners and most of the carpet washers I've owned have required some assembly with a screwdriver, but once assembled you don't need a screwdriver again.
As this is obviously keeping you awake at night, why don't you contact all the manufactures who use screws in their appliances and ask them why they do it.
