If this video was true on how well it cleaned carpet, and removed stains, such as red ones...I wouldn't see them in a corner covered in dust or next to the trash can in my customer's houses when they call me to come clean their carpet professionally.

matt wood In my experience, they usually only work good the first 3 to 5 times you use them. Then they aren't that good. I've never had one works as good as the one in the video though. Ha! I wish!

I've never had a complaint about mine and I use it on friends houses co workers my office. A lot of it is using the correct shampoo give it time to heat and use a medium to slow steady speed. It's not a vacuum it's a cleaner you need to give it I Time to work

I clean carpets professionally and all shampoo does is soak the carpet, go into the backing and wick up soil. It causes brown out and half the time it can set stains. It makes my job much more difficult when clients use these before I come out.

Tris Outlaw if you want to remove old stains you really have to invest some money into it, no Vacumn can really remove old stains some can remove the majority of it though, but if you search rug cleaning there's a whole process behind it sadly it's a lot more complicated then just running a Hoover back and fourth :/

thao tran NEVER pour hot water on a protein stain (urine, feces, vomit, blood, etc.) because that will just set the stain in.

I have one of these and used it on my dogs vomit. It actually does work seeing as the vomit did dry up cuz no one wanted to clean it yet once I finally got up I used this and it cleaned like a charm.

They didn’t let it sit, he started vacuuming LITERALLY right after he spilled the drinks, and the vacuum is not just for drinks - what about paint? Bleach? Detergent? Oil? -, what about spills that have been left for months or YEARS? No one has this vacuum just on hand, so what if they decide to buy it now, for spills/stains that have already been sitting and soaking and eating away at the carpet for longer than 2 days?

I have a similar one of the same brand. What I’m looking for is do you NEED to use a regular vacuum first? Will these type of vacuums pick up dry materials like crumbs, dirt, etc? I know the one I have cleans the carpet but will I have to vacuum twice? Cause I’m not about that life😂

You know sometimes Bissell’s machines can be faulty or or just crap out. However, the warranty they offer is amazing. They either replace the machine, come and fix it, or send a new part. They are awesome. If you have pets and kids buy any Bissell carpet cleaner. They work great and if they don’t they have your back.

Had one if these they work okay but nothing similar to those industrial strength ones. Now if it's a fresh spill it can easily take those stains out but where it fails is deep dirt stains like the dark grey or black first stains in carpets from being walked on so often. A fresh spill is easy for this machine but I would much have a heavy duty one for the harder to get deep dirt stains

I would say if you're moving into a new home owning this would be great do it once a month for all your carpet and you'll never need a stronger one. In my house though we didn't use it unless there was a stain so the dirt is there in my house now so I'm looking to buy a heavy duty unit

If you guys would just simply pretreat with folex for example, let it soak into the stain for like 5 minutes, then use this on it, the stain will come out I promise. 👍🏻👌🏻

Okay this actually can't even clean my carpet because of my mom. She smokes and sits in the same 2 spots everyday. There are ash marks everywhere in those spots. We've tried cleaning that spot but its literally way too dirty. Nothing will clean it. Any suggestions?

I just had to repair mine. The small motor that spins the tubular shaped brush, had got a dose of water. That killed the oil in the motor. So once it had dried up, the running motor got really hot, and so much so that it partially melted the plastic support that holds the motor in place. So the motor shifted its position, and that cause the belt that hooks up the motor to the spin brush to now be loose enough to slip. After fixing the leak spot where the water got in, and repairing the the motor mounting position, it is all up and going again. Total repair cost, $0.00 + work + patience.

I have a problem trying to clean the dirty tank. I have dogs and I run the sweeper before use but it picks up Hair and I can't get all the hair out when cleaning the tank HELP in telling me how to get all the hair out of the tank. It does a good job for spot cleaning but if I were intending on cleaning my two story house that was all carpet I would just hire someone to do that for me.
