This is just the first test. Many more to come.. Please let me know what you all want to see. Thanks Bissell Spinwave Robot on Amazon! = amzn.to/3duaWkL
@@skywalkr2 exactly, it really is a waste of time, you may as well just use a spray flathead mop that is so quick to use unless you have a massive floor.
Everything elsewhere in this country has no idea 💡 it was so much more that it could have gone better without the help of my parents but it would take some time to get them out there and always be able help with the rest of my lifetime and always be the best to pair up with a good friend and always will always have the same problem with him as well if we don't like the fact we were going out to dinner last weekend then it would be nice for sure we could go out and always be nice if we were going there and
These robots are not designed to polish pudding off your floors. Try cleaning the same mess by hand with the pad it comes with, then take that same pad and wipe a streak on your counter. You’ll notice it won’t be very clean. When you’re using a robot to clean a pudding mess, all that is held in the pad and just spread thinly over the rest of your floors. All 2 in 1 vacmops are meant for is for the damp cloth to pick up whatever dust that couldn’t be picked up by the vacuum or light sanitation.
Dreaming if you expect ANY weak robot to clean dried on or bad stains, that takes pre cleaning yourself to begin with, pressure and scrubbing. These are more For general everyday mopping. Just like a very dirty floor they also won't vacuum up everything especially on carpets, not enough vacuum pull like bigger vacuums
Wellyou should try the xiaomi mop robot, it vacuums and mops really well, also it washes the mops in its station, has a tnk for clean water, a tank for dirty water and a dust bag, we LOVE ours in our home (5 bedroom apartment, 2 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs)
I bought just now now, we can't connect it!!!! to the phone, Qscan can't recognize🥵 the robot, why they make everything for applications? what about if I don't want to use the phone :(
Nice review - lots of good info. Do you feel the SpinWave's rotating pads do a better job than the gravity/drag mop pads like those on the S5/S6 Max, or are they about the same? Also curious about what you think of the SpinWave's navigation. Can it handle more complex areas like dining rooms or living rooms with lots of chairs/tables to interrupt its patterns, or will it get lost? Thanks again for the review!
I will do a test where it cleans around the kitchen table and chairs. It IMO for sure clean better then any drag mop however I can guarantee the roborocks vacuum portion will blow this one away.
@@AdamsReviews Awesome, I’ll definitely look forward to checking out that test. Good to know it outperforms drag mops. I’d probably never use the vac portion - I’m just looking for a decent alternative to the M6. Sounds like it might outperform the M6 in terms of cleaning (but not navigation).
@@AdamsReviews I just bought one from Ebay for $215.00. I can't wait to have clean floors in 1 easy step. Looking forward to your review. Oh ok ya you have a very sexy voice. I have a phonebook. Lol.
Daily/Frequent Damp Mopping protects and can extend the life of floors because it doesn't use a lot of water/harsh chemicals/scrubbing (usually only warm water). Daily/Frequent Damp Mopping also cuts down on the number of times and frequency of heavy cleanings that requires harsh chemicals, scrubbing and large amounts of water that shortens the life of Floors and the Floor Finish... Before Damp Mopping you always sweep to remove any dirt that can scratch the floor surface while mopping... then spot clean heavy soiled spots (so you don't spread it around the whole floor... you can use spot cleaning mode with mid/max water... rinse pads and repeat until spot/pads are clean)... you then Damp Mop the whole floor... The purpose of a damp mop is daily/frequent light cleaning... Cut down number of Heavy Cleanings... Extend the life of your Floor/Finish...
This probably isn't true anymore with modern detergents and flooring. Yeah, Linoleum and ammonia like the old days you're going to have a problem, but laminate and a neutral detergent like LAE or SLS you can do a heavy cleaning every day without issue.
This works perfectly on my living room / kitchen that is all "Luxury Vinyl". Of course it will never be able to get off hard substances. For that you need human power.
It really blows my mind that these companies have all these tech and robotic engineers yet none of them can design a freaking mopping robot that puts function over form and actually cleans dirt from hard floors.
The whole idea of using a robotic mop is to MAINTAIN a clean floor. When you get a robotic mop you are supposed to start off with a clean floor, and the mop KEEPS it clean by running any time you’re away. These simply are not meant for cleaning up tough dirt and spills.
Thank you so much. I think your advice on a stand up electric mop is great before I spent the money on a robot mop. Looks easy to use and that is what I am concerned with. Not to throw out my back scrubbing with a regular mop, that is my main concern.
Both tools have a place for me. We have cats - and that means cat hair and cat pukes - and our LVP is a dark color that shows EVERYTHING. The standup model is great for a deep clean (we have both the polishing version you have and the standup crosswave). The crossswave robot is a daily run to keep it looking good in between real cleanings. I definitely don't regret picking up the robot. You just have to have realistic expectations of what it can and cannot do.
Thanks for posting this with honesty and integrity! I hate videos with cut-screens during which no one knows what they are doing. You fast-forwarded instead, and admitted when the product didn't work as expected. THANK YOU!!!
FYI - Damp Mops are for light Frequent/Daily cleaning... The Robo Mop (Damp Mop) is limited to light cleaning... The Mop does not have the ability to rinse... You are wasting your time trying to clean anything other than light soiled floors and your just spreading the mess around the room... When cleaning heavy soiled floors you clean in sections and rinse and repeat until the rinse water runs clean then move to next section... It is beyond the ability of these Robo 'Damp' Mops to clean Heavy Soiled Floors...
Yes I understand that. But you need something to show. A video of it cleaning a floor with dust would be pointless and there will come a point where you do have a dried on stain that it wont be able to get up.
@@AdamsReviews The purpose of a damp mop is daily/frequent light cleaning... Cut down number of Heavy Cleanings... Extend the life of your Floor/Finish...
Hey bro, Thanks for the review! It was a great review and pretty detailed. But just note...there are more heavy duty pads that you can substitute on the mop attachment for spots as you had on the floor.
Do you know where to find a robot cleaner with rotating wash pads (not rotating brushes), and concurrent vacuuming, (similar to Bissell Spinwave which seems to do either dry or wet, not both at the same time)
Dried pudding is too hard of a stain for robot mops to get up you need elbow grease to get that up even by hand you don't just run over it with hand mop and your done. It takes a person a few back and forth passes to get that up. Start doing a mud stain or dried drink spill something like that, pls!
No mopping robot is going to be good enough. You need to put good amount of pressure or significant rotation speed in order to remove any kind of stain.
This should not be such a difficult challenge for these robot design companies to overcome. They are all just cheaping out and trying to hit price points to lure buyers rather than letting the results bring the buyers in. So frustrating. The whole point of mopping is to remove stains. Just smearing around a layer of water on the flooring does nobody any good.
I think the issue is you’re never gonna have a robot mop in my opinion know exactly what you want cleaned but to do it as a general run... robot vacuums are more realistic use wise.
@1:35. Clearly, you have never used a Scooba 450. It's blind. Deaf and DUMB. You just turn it on and let it go. It beats the crap out of your furniture, it's pattern has no rhyme or reason.
Hi, could you please tell me, what maintenance the robot needs, after it's finished cleaning? Like the bissell pet pro, has a lot of parts to clean afterwards. How is it with this fellow? Thanks 👍
Dang, we're waiting to see it, and this guys stalls for time, telling us repeatedly that he "really hopes" it will do a good job. I tell you what I really hope - that you don't pad out your danged videos with BS before showing us the product.
I mean..... To each their own.... But I would just spray the predictable troublesome stain spots with a spray bottle so it has time to hydrate by the time the robot comes over it. It should then lift right up. If there was a robot car washer u would expect to help it out with dried on bug guts, otherwise it would need so much force it would scrub the paint off lol.
Will we be seeing the Ford & Chevrolet mopping robot vacumm soon. nice to watch but you need to add objects for it to maneuver around no one is going to clear out furniture before run. I already know Braava has no trouble cleaning around tables and chairs reason not into combo vacumm/mop units
Shame, I use an RoboRock S5 choose rooms or all then send it out as a vac x2 at Max, then following day send it out as mop x2 and it does ok but it's more just to get the coffee drip. I also spray a little Eucalyptus on the floor but not to much as it will sit and spin till finds a way to move, over all it does enough. Lidar helps so its smart and a big step up from a "My Genie 2000" which does my garage when I drive somewhere. As for the upright it has its own weight Bigger water tank and you pushing it along the floor which I would say helps. Good demo after watching the unboxing of this robot SpinWave, and yes they do need to be smarter. Cheers. P.S. going to watch the Samsung JetBot, It looks like it has all the weight on top so instead of dragging like this, it will benefit more from the downward force like as I said with the Bissel Upright. Cheers.
Hi there, thank you for your helpful review; I just would like to kindly point it out that you forgot to add the cleaning solution that comes with the vacuum in order to make a more accurate review.
Just used mine today 1st time! Wish I saw this before I got it! I was not impressed with my first dry mode run but I will try the wet mode before I completely give a thumbs down.
@@stephenjohn841 Overall its decent...I think it mops the best but simply cannot get up any dried stains without some help like I sprayed. If it was smart it would be a no brainer...it needs navigation.
So I have around 15 years of experience owning various robotic mops and the best and most effective ones by far were the ones that work by spraying water down, scrub with a spinning roller and and squeegees the dirty water into a separate tank. So I bet this one wouldn’t cut it for someone who doesn’t want dirty water spread all over without being sucked up. This would just push dirt around.
@@kaleyarsenault7568 none. They’ve all abandoned that method but the same cleaning performance can be had with a Crosswave or tineco S5. So I recommend getting one of those
These things are not meant for or able to clean up major dirt disasters. They are only meant to light mop areas between human manual cleanings. If the robot is used on a regular basis, it can help to keep your floors in an overall cleaner state.
I just got both, I love the way it cleans. I don’t know why they can’t make it smarter but he’s right. The braava is freaking amazingly smart. But the cleaning as good as the bissel
I hope Bissell sees this! Damn, I just bought this from Amazon and it will be here tomorrow. I'm so NOT impressed.Thank you for sharing your experiences.
@@Yamalylove I never even took it out of the box. I returned it the day I received it. I'm using the Shark AI right now. It's a little better but still has issues. I'm being patient because I got such a good deal on it brand new, I don't want to return it (lol!)
I don’t think any robot vac will get dried on yogurt or pudding off a floor. It’s one of those things that really is hard when dried to get off. They will do great for daily surface mopping that’s light duty. I use my crosswave for mopping and the t8 for wet pad mopping to maintain between cleanings.
Yeah I have came to that conclusion too. It really needs to be ran over several times to get it up and all these robot vacuums tend to go over it 2 times and that's all.
Your hand scraped wood floors have a pretty uneven surface. Are you really expecting that auto mop to tackle that? I'm sure after a few cleanings it'll be gone. All you had to do was hold the camera. In my house, if someone spilled yogurt, we would wipe it up with a towel. We wouldn't let it dry and expect a robot to clean it up.
