Get your facts right: 1. There is no linguistic barrier for anyone who study here. Hindi is the only language within our campus and I presume that we all are comfortable with Hindi, with few exceptions from South. Even the local dialect, which is Nagpuri, is very similar to Hindi. Nevertheless, no one ever speak Nagpuri within Campus. I am living in Ranchi since 2009 and I am currently studying in BIT Mesra but trust me I still don't know to speak Nagpuri. Inspite of this, I never felt like alienated. Even when you go to Ranchi, everyone speaks in one and only language Hindi. 2. Fish, as you have mentioned, is very rarely in our dinner, may be once or twice in a semester. We mostly have chicken and meat in our dinner as a non-vegetarian Dishes...as often as not we have North-West Indians friendly dishes... 3. Definitely... The campus is 980 acres and it's simply exquisite. It is covered with lush green trees and is surrounded by River from three sides, which makes it a sight to look out for. Having said that, I buy in that faculties here are not conversant. They lack Intelligence of required level and most often than not they are irresponsible. I know it from my past personal experiences. Also the official works here, quit often can be done at snails speed. So be aware of this and never put yourself in such a troubles that you have to go around them. To put it in simpler words, don't mess up with them. I don't Intend to say that it is a best college in India but certainly it is not as it is portrayed by you... You certainly need to do some more research and get you facts rechecked...
Package of BIT MESRA doesn't reveal its greatness as an ENGINEERING SCHOOL. Its being in tribal of Jharkhand might not have fetched package as much as OTHER ENGINEERING INSTITUTES, BUT ITS ENGINEERS HAVE ONE OF BEST FOOTPRINTS OFF CAMPUS WORLD OVER.
My son is a BE Production Engg from BIT Mesra having passed in 2014 with CGPA of 8.20. He is presently working in a multinational Engg consultancy co as senior consultant with package of 16.80 lakhs, Saturday and ,Sunday being off. He has worked in UHG, RBS. He was also selected in Hawkins and Z S Associates, where he did not join. He has also visited Copenhagen, Denmark.

Now I completed my 12th class.I am living in Rajasthan, I wants to ask you that for IT colleges which is better Pune or Bangalore for better career.on the basis of there fee ,faculties,facilities, job opportunity.
It has more than 800acre.U may be lost in the green forest. 13.5 acre is the area of campus building. Infrastructure is actually very good in any sense.Seniors are ideal.Teachers are bit frustrating.Not research oriented,placement is much high in cs/it rest branch is good.High fee but more underrated college than it is.

Cse mnc ka avg 35+lpa hai for 2021..iit patna qualified for acm icpc world finals also.... Your data us very wrong... Sir ji Maine quora pr Search krke dekha to Mila ki bit mesra ka recent years ka avg package 12-13lakh/anm ha for CSE/IT and 9lkh/anm ha for other branches like(ece,mechanical,electrical,production etc)
COUNT THE GEMS OF BIT MESRA AND THEN COMPARE IT WITH NITs and BITS PILANI. Thousands in number (in India and abroad) I have a suggestion for BIT MESRA mangement to arrange its own Test as BITS PILANI.

Can you also make videos about various engineering courses like CSE , IT, electronics, mechanical streams.Being in 12th class, I have little information about how it is to be an engineer and what is my interest and potential.Also these days many students are running after CSE. So please provide a session on this also; that how it is to be studying CSE and other streams, what kind of opportunities and jobs we get to explore!!

I live near bit mesra.....it is in my home City...... The placements are great for skilled student but their is no good education and faculties and also presonality development.

with all due respect sir! NEARLY EVERYTHING U SAID ABOUT THE CAMPUS, PLACEMENT AND ISOLATION IS WRONG!..it is very close to the the city area (about 3-4km away from Ranchi main city). The placement in last 3 years is improved!

@@dm_xe yeah its totally possible to change ur branch but u have to get very high score in ur semester tests! and about going with EEE as far as i know its a really good branch but thing is its one of the core branches so y should see that u can handle it or not..otherwise i will say the professor and the labs and lectures are very good in this collage and placement rate is about 97% for ECE i dk about EEE but yeah its good

bit mesra se bs 30 minutes lagta hai ranchi jaane me......so its not isolated......aur hm sb har weekends pr bowling,movies,games,etc ke liye jaate rehte hai....... city se dur hai isliye bht shaanti hai......aur agr ashanti chahiye to kabhi bhi ranchi chl jao......buses din bhr chalti rehti hai
