I saw her live in 2011 and she was really great then. Last night I saw something from this year and wow she's out of this world on the guitar, singing, and songs. What a great artist!
This is about the 40th time I've whatched this... its great everytime. How she plays, how she gets into the song... leans back throws her head back and hits those notes... song rocks!
Same here exactly my friend. Samantha and the talent around her, which is a large group of talent. So many collaborations with other musicians is just great. You think of athletes, me being one of them, had days, many days for the most talented, where you were in the zone. All things were just in perfect sync. Samantha is clearly in the frickin zone here. You all hear me??? LOL If new to her watch her live videos. She gets in the zone like Michael Jordan.
This ABSOLUTELY 🎉 the best version of the song what energy. From the beginning soloing to the middle solo. When she came in on the beginning amazing . What a command performance ❤ THE FISH!!! Way to go girl. Thanks for the post great camera work and so😂und (editing).. 😀
... i knew it at the time that this was something special when i was filming. It certainly helped that i was front n' center for this filming. Thanks for watching and your comment.
Man, if she will stay with this trio, Samantha, Go Go and Jason! Jason and Go Go totally compliment each other and Samantha is the icing on the cake! The longer they play, the better they get! Gots ta see 'em!
Sam has a six piece band now. Go Go is gone. She has a keyboardist, a sax man, and a trumpet man. I was taken aback when I saw them at the Palladium in St Pete a few weeks back. BUT, it works. She is better than ever.
She has an album sitting on the shelf (produced by Luther Dickinson) that she said recently would be released later this year. I'm wondering if Go Go played on it.
Samantha is a great musician💕👍but the bare feet gives me flashbacks to my early days playing in old houses and stuff u learn quickly don't touch ur band mates and damn sure don't put ur arm across ur Strat and grab the refrigerator door to get another beer between songs man that's shocked the shit outta me and when I could talk again all the boys said on no you shouldn't be touching anything hooked up to electricity hell some places you shock each other when you touch passing the fire 😂man it was fun 🎸🔥✌️
There are ladies who can shred... they are all over the internet (usually copying somebody else's material .....and not the same as seen here) I ask who has the total package? Few guys or gals are in her league. She's got the look, She's got pipes, She got the chops.... She's all over the internet doing local show after show...some small & some big If she keeps her head and keeps her ego in check.... she's sooner or later gonna be FRACKIN HUGE! Man this woman is good! give me more PLEASE!
Fantastic Samantha, Christoper & Go-Go! I loved every note/beat from start to finish, it just worked amazingly well together! When are you travelling to Australia! ;-)
So sorry I missed the trio. I didn't see her until this summer (7 piece band). They don't have the tight intensity seen here. I'll still go see her, but I feel like I missed something special.
She's great. The sound balance ain't quite so good making the vocal track subdued. But what a damn fine and an exciting player and performer she is. Tell me do; did Samantha Fish have a crossroads encounter.
Outstanding, it looks like she busted a nail at the beginning of the tune and keeps on playing! I'm thinking she uses her nails a picks;so sudden change and she nails it!! sts
She's a hybrid blues artist/rock star. Nice combination. Though her solos could be shorter and less repetitive. She's got great intuition. It would be cool to see her with maybe a sax or trumpet or percussionist. 3 pieces are great. I've played in a bunch of them. But she is so talented it would be cool to see her interact with other lead musicians. It would also take the heat off of her.
I don't agree that her solo's should be shorter, and they're not repetitive. This session is 5 years old now, and she has had a band with a trumpeter, saxophonist, keyboardist and even violinist occasionally for a few years already. There are plenty of videos of her expanded band on RU-vid. I prefer the older three piece, but the larger ensemble is also excellent!
Every time I watch this.. I say to myself "Hot Damn...SOB! At first, the band is like Meh.... "Whatever.." then she get's her mojo on and drags them into it and makes it a total jam!
