The last 2 times we saw the 21wEMA CROSS THE 20W SMA WE EVENTUALLY HAD BIG UPSIDE MOVES, BUT SOMETIMES 2-4 WEEKS AFTER THE CROSS. Thanks again Ben for all your content 🙏
But the DXY is just an indicator that measures the value strength vs a basket of currency’s , That’s not measure the real value of the dollar it self . So as long the others currencies keep losing value a higher speed then the dollar , the dollar can continuously keep strong . Correct me if I’m wrong .
Measuring the system using the same system won't make sense because it does not take manipulation into account. As more and more countries continue to get crushed by the dollar inflation, their systems will implode. More implosion less stuff gets made, less on shelves, less trade, everything cost more because the dollar's purchasing power is diluted and scarcity of stuff. I give it no more than 100 Trillion in USD debt and us Fed will own 70% or more of it. Then Failure. Just depends how fast they print not if they print.
I often wonder this Marcos, being a UK resident and needing GBP. But it seems that the BTC/GBP and also the BTC/EUR chart is pretty much the same as USD/GBP, so I get confused by this too.
The "real value of the dollar" in this case is relative to the other DXY currencies. As a global world, everything is valued in relation and constantly repriced. The value of the dollar domestically has been strongly diminished, but the comparison basket has done even worse, thus the dollar is both weaker and yet stronger in relation to who it is compared with. I hope that makes sense.
Wow what a great indicator! Thanks 😊 Question - BTC having a positive correlation with Tech (let’s say QQQ), does this DXY negative correlation exist with Tech stocks?
Great video Ben. With the threat of multiple rate increases from the Treasury, shouldn't we expect continued strengthening of the dollar and, as such, continued downward pressure on Bitcoin?
I took a break after watching 2X daily, looks like I found the right day to re engage. The DXY most certainly is correlated and worth strongly considering, glad to see you found it. I appreciate how you point out over BTC's life they are inversely correlated, unlike the rest of the currencies. The USD$ is strong in relation to the even worse depreciations of the DXY basket, that does not mean it is strong in relation to BTC, for BTC will most likely be proven extremely strong to the rest of them.
Is there an arrangement to be had that the stronger the dxy gets the greater the adoption outside of the US, i.e. more nations abandoning the dollar for btc
I'm thinking about it... Image the dollar plunge to new lows and how bad the world would be wrecked.. Then what that does to crypto.. And happens over next 3yrs.
Is it reall a good thing if the dollar starta dropping, yeah, seeing Bitcoin go up would be nice but it will be worth more dollars that are each worth less then they are now? Am i missing something?
That's facts bro but I think the upside potential of Bitcoin whenever that happens far outweighs the loss of purchasing power when you convert back to USD 🤘
