It's good 80 cheesy fun.. where everybody else grew up with Freddy, Jason and Michael.. I grew up with Maniac Cop, Tremors and Child's Play and yes the sequels are worth the watch too (even though 1 is my favorite).
This is a movie that I always use to see in the video rental shop, always wanted to watch it but for some reason it has passed me by. I will have to watch it.
I really like Maniac Cop. It's got a 70s exploitation vibe, an 80s slasher feel and even a bit of social commentary. Plus Atkins, Campbell and some damn fine stunts.
