Bitmoji Classroom in Schoology with Clickable Links

I will show you how to put your Bitmoji classroom with clickable links as well as “buttons” with clickable links into your Schoology where they are large and can be updated without having to re-do these steps each time.

To create the Update, I suggest putting a space before and after the embedded slide in the edit window so when you save it, you can highlight the whole thing more easily. I have 14 classes as a Specialist, some of my colleagues have 30 or 40 depending on what they teach and how many schools they're at, so that's super helpful to know. Some of the schoology pages didn't want to let me highlight the frame, it gets to be a pain over time.

I was importing a file instead of making a new page and my links wouldn't work. I was tearing my hair out trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. Thanks so much!!! =)

Thank you for making this video. It is helping me so much! I do have a question. Do I link the folders I want to my buttons. Like my subjects folders (Reading, Math, etc)??

Ms. Thomas you could but I don’t know what the benefit of that would be if they are just below your classroom. I’m linking my different subject courses to the links for easier access for my students.

I have been successful making my Bitmoji room & getting it posted into materials. When I go to foot and paste it into updates, only the link copies! What am I doing wrong???

I made it a page. Then copied the image in the page and pasted directly into the update section.

What dimensions do you recommend to use inside of google drawings. Ive been going through a bunch and have not found the right one to fit the page like you have.

Leila Anani the first number I put 825 and then it automatically changes the second one.

My problem is I made a whole classroom in Drawing and linked other Drawing slides to the images as opposed to url's. However, anytime I go to the "live" room to test it, anything that had a Goggle Drawing image linked to it gives me an error message. Any suggestions?

Crystle Russell it was a whole Google Slides presentation (one room several linked slides) converted into multiple drawings 1 at a time. I tried to link each drawing to where it needed to be in the “home drawing”. It would either say the link can’t be opened or bring the editing version up even went set to view only with link.

Amanda Lorenz hmm! I’m not sure how that works. Idk if you can link certain google slide slides out if a google slide. Not sure if that makes sense.

How do you add class to different courses? Do you have to create a class for each course?

Angelina Martinez if you want the exact same thing for each then there is a button to click in notifications to copy that update to other courses. If you have a different class with some differences then you will have to go to that course and follow those same steps.

Did you insert it as an image or did you put it in through google drive with “import embed”? I know that I had coworkers have issues with the buttons not displaying because they were images so I ultimately decided to put my buttons onto my Bitmoji classroom which got rid of that problem because the Bitmoji classroom is embedded and not just an image. I hope that makes sense.

I found that if I copy my slide into google drawing any gifs I have will move.

@@priscillatorres6931 Copy all the items in a slide and paste them into a google drawing. When you add the google drawing to your update the gifs moved.
