I gotta say, I really enjoyed every single episode; learned a lot about the development and how people feel before, during and after their work. My favorite episode was episode 1, learning about how a game with Mojang that never came to be was fascinating! The most insightful episodes were the Lego Universe saga, makes me regret not getting into it when it was out, but listening to the episodes made me feel like I really was there when it happened. Thank you Brian, Ethan and the rest of the team for such a great podcast. Can't wait for more!
Guys!!! I absolutely am in love with everything you've done with this podcast. Each episode is so terrifically researched and produced, and the histories you are illuminating are always fascinating and wonderful listens. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the fun and knowledge. I can't wait for what's next in store. ❤️ P.S. - I can't wait for Rock Raiders, I had both the sets and the game when I was younger!
Bits N’ Bricks. Ethan Vincent: Welcome to Bits N’ Bricks. A podcast about all things Lego games. I'm Ethan Vincent. Brian Crecenti: And I’m Brian Crecenti. Ethan: Together we look back at the rich 25-year history of Lego games. Chat with early developers and season studios who have all tackled the creation of video games for one of the most popular and respected toy companies in the world the Lego group. [Music] Ethan: Well, Brian, this is it, is it? Well, no, but it was going to be our last episode of Bits N’ Bricks. Brian: Right, but then we got some really great news and that came thanks to a lot of really great support from listeners and fans of the show, both inside the Lego group and among its legions of builders, creators, and players. Ethan: That's right and just last month we got official word from the Lego group that due to popular demand Bits N’ Bricks is to be continued? Brian: Yes exactly. Ethan: Yes and you know more about that later, but… Brian: Yeah Ethan: …what that means is that in this episode, we're going to talk about some of our favorite bits. You know bits and bricks from season one, but also talk about where the show might be going in the future. Brian: Most importantly, we're going to be doing that with just a few of the people who have worked so hard to make these episodes what they are. Ethan: That's right. Joining us this week is Ronnie, Nannan, and Dave. We'll hear more about them later, but before we start some stats from stats guy. [music]
