To be fair, Chara did have a knife- the worn dagger or the real knife. They liked knives if you believe in Narrachara. But just because Chara liked knives doesn’t mean they’re evil, Clover likes guns, I’m sure, and they’re not evil. Buttercups are a better symbol of them too because Frisk can use Chara’s knife and Patience also had a toy knife which might get mixed up…

To be fair, we don't always associate knives with the Geno Route specifically. It's also used as a readily recognizable symbol we can associate with Chara, similar to how knives are associated with Omori, or Madotsuki from Yume Nikki.

Big agree. Kris is the one we actually see with the knife... for eating pie, of course! (I don't interpret any of the kids as bad. Kris is a little troll, but hey, we all love Sans and he's the same.)

Chara's knife is their starting weapon. Like the gun is for Cover and the stick is for frisk. It makes sense that it would be used to represent them and it fits the pattern used for the other two.

aaa i missed it but this was so good!! Great job! Loved seeing the Neutral Route Starlo cameo, his sprite was by far the most offputting to me and it was utilised very well here! He totally won't haunt me for another week /j Overall this was great, seeing how all the verses even fit everyone so well! The scene with all their belongings and the implications of specific routes were a real treat, and they all really deserved this recognition :) Will look forward to your next upload as always ❤

@@nova-witchwood oh like the implications of the uty neutral route (several frames), frisk looking uncomfortable in the bedroom which could be a reference to the player's actions, etc. Maybe I'm overthinking it though lol

@@DoubleAgent05 Ahhh… yeah, I guessed UTY neutral, after all Starlo ain’t looking too… alive. Chara’s story is set in stone. All that’s left is Frisk and Kris, which are very ambiguous.

@@abcdefghigklmnnopqrstuwxyz yeah, there were a lot of other hints too (or what I took as hints), but like I said, I srsly don’t get why ppl always pin all the evil onto Chara. Especially cause we know that they tried to break the barriers in their own way. It was done in good intentions, though the method was not very good.
