Thank you so much for your video. I have a 1977 Beetle with L-Jetronic and because of your video I was able to narrow my problem down.

What is the engine doing when it 'thinks' it is cold vs. warm? Do you have an extra "cold-start" injector into the plenum (like my Range Rover Classic) or is the ECU adjusting fuel some other way?

Hi! The Opel engine doesn't have a cold start valve. The ECU increases the duration of the injection pulse instead thereby spraying more fuel into the combustion chamber.
