Bitwise operations are widely used when programming microcontrollers of any types and series. Bitwise operations are the basic arsenal of any microcontroller programmer, so to speak, a fireproof or skill that is equally applicable to all types of microcontrollers, since the pure C syntax is used. With the help of bitwise operations it is possible to check the state of any single or multiple bits, and to change the state of these bits without affecting the remaining bits. With this approach, the remaining bits remain intact, that is, they do not lose the information stored in them. Bitwise operations are formed from logical operations and shift operations, discussed in detail in the previous video.
