Correct me if I am wrong but this is Pan Nam lineage Biu Tze. This form is different in some ways vs the Ip Man lineage Biu Tze. Then again there are many different lineages and each of them has its own strengths. Pan Nam lineage seems to have wonderful chi na and use of eagle claw techniques and I could be wrong but I believe they do not focus as much on dragging the rear leg and are more about taking steps instead of dragging the foot. I could be wrong but this is what I had read anyhow.
Hello wing chuners, i like WC BUI JI but not these form, Yip Man bui ji is simple and good form, always people to like them. I see P N, WC at the end to like rolling hand this style is hungar form open. and than no other important hand chan sau is no played. 16/02/2013
No, this is the original - and PROPER - way of doing Bil Jee. It is actually a grappling form; the spearing hands refers to how it looks, NOT finger strikes. They are in fact what jujitsu people call "shoots". If you doubt me, then just look at the laughable applications given for the Ip Man Bil Jee and tell me any of that shit would work in a real fight (assuming you have any real fight experience).
