Our tying series continues with the Brown Bi-visible, tyed by Seth Cavarretta.
This classic pattern, a favorite of anglers and tyers like the Dette’s, Rube Cross, and Ray Bergman, utilizes a darker hackle in the rear of the fly, making the silhouette stand out nicely to trout, coupled with the addition of white hackle at the collar making it highly visible to the angler. This combination gives the angler plenty of confidence when canvasing the water with the Bi-visible, and the ability to track its drift effectively through pocket water and faster riffles. Enjoy!
