Some Bixby and Google Assistance command I commonly use. Rather than comparing Bixby vs Google Assistant, in this video, I share how I use both of them at the same time. Using Bixby and Google Assistant does not have to be mutually exclusive. I used both of them on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.
Bixby commands:
"Take a Photo"
"Turn on Mobile Hotspot"

Google Assistant:
"What is the meaning of [word]?"
"How much is Galaxy S21 Ultra?"

Thanks for this terrific video! I just got a Samsung phone for the first time and I was getting annoyed that I couldn't use Google Assistant the way I was used to, but you have shown me how I can use both together. This is a game changer. Keep up the good work!

Yap, every time I need assistance, I will be thinking will Bixby or GA be able to handle this question better. I use Bixby to natively create reminders and operate my smart lights and aircon with Samsung SmartThings

Unfortunately on my Note 20, when I say "Open Google Assistant", it opens up the Google news feed instead. :( Anyway, great video. A combination that I'm using recently is.... "Ok google" and ask a question. After the answer I say "Hi Bixby.... lock phone". That way the screen doesn't stay on for minutes after my Google question.

yep this is how I will use bixby it will be a bit odd to switch from english to swedish but it is what it is. google assistant works amazingly well with Swedish.

@@SkyPerspective thanks for showing how to work with both. I think bixby have more languages like german. But can not deal with swedish at all. Google assistant works well with both english and swedish. Have you tried windows voice to text function? Win + h to open it works only with english that I know but it is handy and accurate enough. Sure there is no commands that I know of but it is useful if you for some reason need to write something but can not type for one reason or another. This would have been superb if it had the same ability like google assistant when it comes to understanding what you are saying.

Hey @@CarnisChampion I just gave Win+h dictation a try, it's pretty accurate. Thanks for letting me know this. Best time to use that would be when our hands are dirty or wet and we didn't want to smudge all over the keyboard. Hmm.... but we still need to press Win+h.

@@SkyPerspective you are very welcome and merry christmas! I use win + h when I want to write anything while i am snacking at the computer as then i usually put away the keyboard. But i think google assistant would be better as it is usually better at guessing what you are saying and are multi lingual. But given that the tech as grown this much in such a short time i am both hopeful and a bit scared of what it will do in the future.

Ok sure. I got too many videos to make and yes digital assistant videos is what I want to make more off. Maybe I can do each one of them as a RU-vid shorts. Why is Google a bummer in this area? Google assistant is great.

@@SkyPerspective Google is bummer when our internet connection is off. It can't do simple tasks like turn on flashlight, Play offline music, turn on bt. Etc.etc. I'm very lazy to manually turn on mobile data. But now I made it automatically using Bixby routines. If - Google app opened Then - Mobile data on (not reversed) So whenever we wake up Google assistant ..this routine automatically turn on data and we can use assistant at its full potential. Simple routine but make my life easy. Yeah I'm lazy boy

@@ujwal3934 Oh I see. I understand what you mean now. Yes Bixby runs natively on the phone to control things like mobile hotspot or mobile data, and can work offline because is native on the phone. This is why I use different assistants for different purposes.

Hi Sadek, not to the extend that I notice any battery difference. The convenience is definitely worth the tiny bit of extra battery consumption. I am about to make more Bixby and Google Assistance shorts video on RU-vid soon. Stay tuned.

By using different call phrase "Ok Google" and "Hi Bixby" to trigger the one I want. They are both listening all the time.

Hi Syed Parvez, how did that happen? Did you use the side key to activate Bixby and Google assistant keep popping up? Maybe check your side key configuration in your Settings | Advance features menu. What's your phone and model?
