Wow, how refreshing to hear a homeowner that understands he bit off more than he could chew. He's clear that this is dangerous work best left to professionals. He called the right man for the job. Great to have appreciative clients. Nice work Brian! And nice camera work by the homeowner ; ) Love the music too BTW . . .
Well done Brian. Take some good saw skills and a quick pair of feet, throw 'em in a bucket, stir 'em up real good and what do ya' get??? Bixler!!! I'm hoping to see some of that in person at Arbor X(?)..... ;)
ken, got nothing to do with Daniel Murphy. this guy has his own game. and plunge/ bore cuts have been used in danger tree work since before Mr. Murphy was born. Nice one Bix!
Nice work... I always think of that vertical plunge cut on a leaner as the "Daniel Murphy technique". He has a great vid describing how it's used on storm damaged trees etc. Also I'm guessing you used a plunge cut to fell the tree to minimize the risk of barber chair? Cool vid
Absolutely same thing i thought of! haha. And yeah he for sure went with the plunge to avoid a barber chair. It's honestly a better felling method anyway regardless if there is a risk of barber chair.
