I remember watching that game when Glen Davis was struggling to get up, and you could see Doc Rivers in the background yelling at him to get back on defense. It was kind of shocking that he didn't realize there was a problem sooner. He very obviously needed help.
The elbow to Glen Davis' head isn't the direct cause of his jello legs, it's the back of his head smashing into and bouncing off the floor that did it.
T Mac had me dying. When Cos said, he kicked the ball “multiple times” I didn’t know he meant during the same game. Back to back 😂 The whole video after this comedy.
What happened to Glen Davis happened to me before. I was participating in a 26 mile ruck march called The Bataan Memorial Death March. Around mile 20 my legs cramped up so bad that I physically couldn't walk for a few minutes. After about 15 minutes, I was good and was able to finish.
i rem when the Melo thing happened and right away thinking that he was just being a spoiled brat, so i wasn't surprised at all when his teammates continued playing.
Fun Fact: in 1984, The Bulls drafted not only Michael Jordan, but also track and field star Carl Lewis, despite Carl never having played basketball in high school or college. That same year Carl would also be drafted as a wide receiver by the Dallas Cowboys.
Oh man I have been wanting to see that clip of Samaki Walker trying to block a shot at his own basket and fouling ever since I first saw it 25 years ago. Speaking of kicking the ball in the stands though, I remember watching a Bulls-Pacers game where Chuck Person kicked the ball in the stands twice. Look up "Pacers' Chuck Person kicks ball into crowd"
I think Corey Maggette was tryna go between the defender's legs with that pass, but didn't have the skill to do it. Kinda like when older players try to rise up for a dunk and they get shuttered by the rim. That's just a hypothesis tho, if we're trying to see the logic of it from his POV. Also, we'd learn years later that JR isn't the best judge of when to call a timeout.
You can't convince me T-Mac kicked that ball intentionally... It was definitely an accident, both times lol Also did dude shooting on the wrong hoop get 3 free throws when he got fouled? Technically is a 3pt shot in the act of shooting
The whole Pacers/Bucks thing is him being a big baby. There are 2 games per game and he’s was the first one. We removed it and had the second ball put into play. He had his ball the whole time
