@@boghund iceland people had a revolution in about 2012 they took back the power from the bankers and politicians that wanted to bankrupt the island. know one talks about this important event i wonder why... Another fact is that soldiers are not allowed to vote i wonder why? maybe because they would be a threat to the nwo?
She's such a performer! She seems to replicate the accent of whoever she's speaking to. Here she's talking to a Londoner and has a bit of a cockney accent, whereas I've seen her in German interviews with a thick German accent. Proper character.
She was bored shitless here. You know when she's being asked the right questions because she comes alive & gets very animated. Here she is just putting up with Ross' bullshit due to her sweet nature. She'd much rather talk about music if the plonker would only ask about it but that would take the spotlight off of Jonathan Ross for a while. Heaven forbid.
KINDLE You were sooo right and her laugh or more of a super cute giggle-laugh... Almost a fuck off and let me get in with it.. And the Eskimo shit gets old.. She even mentioned it at the beginning saying everyone always says that.. But he kept on

Yeah I couldn’t believe that either . Just get her relaxed and settled in with some seventies discrimination humour to her face. Then insult her dress sense. Is he jealous when faced with a truly unique talented woman .
Bjork is honestly the most adorable person I've ever seen. Then she opens her mouth and you either fall asleep or have your ears shredded. I just love her voice and her personality.
Björk is an inspiration! A unique person and singer-songwriter. After 3 visits on her Volta tour I am from now on her biggest fan (in my world) "Det är i våra händer" /Sweden
I LOVE LOVE LOVE when she says she felt like she felt she was theatrical at the Oscars. And that the rest of it was even more so. That makes a world of sense. Aww. I never saw this interview. So great!
Thom Yorke was in his talk show and I just keep thinking how Thom is obsessed with her voice and said so many times in his interviews and uses her voice as an example of brilliance in music.
Jonathan Ross always uses gambits to break the ice so the person being interviewed will feel more relaxed, which in turn makes the interview flow better. In this case he uses stereotypes, which could cause offence in the wrong setting but the light-heartedness with which he delivers them shows there's no malice in what he's saying.
If I had the chance to interview one of the greatest artists of our time, I would definitely do my research, so I wouldn't embarrass myself by asking if Iceland is where 'the Eskimos' live! And I wouldn't tell anybody that I needed to look this up... you should KNOW that Iceland is NOT where 'the eskimos' live... it's called general education!
***** Well, you know, there is all those various awards she's won, such as grammies, and also golden globes. She's been featured in many "Top ___ of all time" lists, and she had an app inducted into the Museum of Modern Art. Which, for whatever it's worth, was the first of its kind. You don't have to like Bjork, but she's definitely one of the more influential musicians out there. I mean, you SHOULD like Bjork, but if you're stupid or something it's totally okay. I mean, I like Bjork, and this is coming from a guy who typically listens to classic rock, death metal and hip hop. Try to be more open minded--I think you'll find you enjoy things more, and find more things to enjoy!
Yes, you're right. You don't have to like Björk or her music, but you definitely should appreciate that she's been a well-respected and very innovative artist for a long time. That's a fact, not an opinion!
No need to get mad and swear at people you don't even know... Maybe it's 'british humour' (which I normally like, btw), but this guy just isn't funny IN MY OPINION... And humour is a matter of taste, there's no ultimate definition for what's funny and what's not...
@zombiiination if you do some research, you'll find that not only does Gaga do mostly her own material, but she has been employed as a songwriter by Sony for a load of major artists. I'll agree that she employs a facade of originality rather than really showing any, but she does have musical talent in lots of areas. Not just a pretty, marketable face.
Okay, Bjork is still the premier innovator and a complete genius and I love everything she does, i respect her and her work blows my mind continually, but can I just say this? She has the most adorable accent in the world. Genius, funny and so gorgeous.
I love Bjork AND Gaga, and it would be lovely if everybody would stop saying one of them doesn't have talented. Because, it may be shocking but people that you're not a fan of CAN be talented and two female singers CAN both be talented.
Nice interview. That guy does have some skills - he handled that interview well. Bjork is such a talented artist - that's why there will always be only one Bjork!
that guy is a class act in the realm of interviewers. He made her funny, endearing, innocent, sexy, and approachable & basically intelligent in a single interview. the interview was about Bjork, but the interviewer is also a star here.
@1gaia Beautiful, beautiful English. It's a rare event to read a coherent, even exceedingly well-structured comment on RU-vid, and I was so completely refreshed by it that my reaction achieved a physical manifestation. There is hope yet...
@JonnyCashmore She does actually. She sings and writes all her own stuff and is a pretty good pianist. She obviously writes a completely different kind of music, but is still an impressive performer.
@tiarnan76 cont. Perhaps I am still naive of years, but I have yet happened upon such idioms as "satchel of shit" and "fiddily biddly flappability". They did however provoke a few illicit giggles, at which I trust you are not displeased. Your inference of my intentions (grammatical and otherwise) being nothing other than pure, leaves me truly gratified. You are evidently a man of the world, not to mention honour. Yours faithfully Lady H of RU-vid
Man, she's so nice and creative and a real gem, yet so many people are on her for that damn dress. Who gives a fuck? That's how you truly live as a creative soul who gets bored by mediocrity and shakes things up. Good for her.
