i'm glad she ended up with the live version. it has more power to it. and felt more like a concluding song, that could loop back to moon. her vocals are great, but they sound kind of forced on this one, imo. the live one allowed her to deliver more of a raw emotional delivery. thanks for uploading this, though! i've been curious about it.
I'm pretty sure since this is a demo, it wasn't mastered for the album. Like how Hollow's original version has a different master -- its less subdued. But acknowledging that, I completely agree with you. The live version feels more natural and free-flowing. The vocals are also smoother.
Agreed, the live version was much better, not that this isnt good, but doesnt seem to heave the same flow. It actually make me wonder if this is not maybe truly a demo-version and not the "studioversion" attended for the album first.
Studio yes no doubt. But I'm questioning if it's the version first intended to be on the album. It hasn't got a nice flow too it. Which is why I think this actually might be a true demoversion.
