This was filmed at my church. I work on the media team there. I think I can speak for all of us when I say it was incredible to work with these guys. BJ Putnam is our worship leader so I may be a tiny bit partial here. That being said, I love working with him. Awesome man of God.
mcrchickenluvr Can you tell me, it sounds like one or maybe two times BJs voice was "modulated" or sampled through a keyboard when he is climbing and falling through the notes... at least on the audio version of this song
James Craft that is actually done before it went to the studio. He uses Ableton quite a bit. Especially when we things like concerts or other events. But he doesn't like to use it very often. He's usually more of a raw vocals type of singer.
mcrchickenluvr sure! most of his vocal runs sound untouched (and still amazing, I might add) but it's nice to have that available in live form... very cool feature! He reminds me of Lenny LeBlanc... he was my favorite voice back in the 80s and 90s... used a lot with Hosanna Integrity live recordings... this song is totally lifting me up this week... like forcing my (often unwilling) soul to worship with my willing Spirit!! love it.... LOVE IT! MAKE IT LOUD!!!
James Craft I'm a recording engineer and I have worked with just about every type of recording software available. Very few people know how to use them the way he does. He not only does his stuff, but he's an awesome producer. I did my first internship with him. To say that I felt blessed to be able to work with him is an understatement. Even if it was before I went to school for music and audio production.
Whoever that drummer is, he is sick!!! Beast!!!!! Savage! At the end, the whole stage just turned around and watch him do his thing. You go, drummer man.
Ok I've been listening to this for at least an hour and I haven't figured out the second half of that outro yet. Is that what's going on?!!! Aghhh I got 4 hours left to figure it out. Lol
It's interesting cause it sounds like a 7/8 but the count is actually still 4/4. It switches to a 4 and 3 count back to back which makes it sound like it's a 7/8
I love the way this song is arranged so that the message is perfectly matched with the rhythm, instruments and vocals. Such a wonderful piece of music to really bring glory to the Name above all names. And yes, Chris Coleman such a gifted man of God, gives us a taste of what it is to praise God with all He´s given us. We need to see more God showing His glory through Christian musicians yielding their giftings to His matchtless Majesty!!!
Daniel Cojocaru It can be subdivided in any manner, whether based on the 1/8 or 1/4 note. I personally count the ending in a 7/8 time signature. Either way, it totally rocks and brings glory to the author of music through the instruments! I've always felt that there should be more praise music with a count of 7 -- isn't that the complete, perfect number representing the number of "days" God took to create the universe?
Glorious Shout it out and Glorious Make it louder Jesus we shout Your name Jesus we make Your praise Glorious You are glorious My God You reign Forever and ever How great Your name Your love remains Forever and ever You stay the same Shout it out, shout it out If you know He’s good Sing it out, sing it out For the Lord is good Shout it out loud You are glorious Glorious Shout it out and Glorious Make it louder Jesus we shout Your name Jesus we make Your praise Glorious You are glorious Shine Jesus You shine for all the world to see You are glorious You are glorious (You are glorious) You are glorious (You are glorious) Oh oh oh Oh oh oh oh oh Oh oh oh Oh oh oh oh oh Oh oh oh God You are glorious
Khem Saguban I was finding the lyrics of this song but I can't see anything but when I scroll down I see this.. thanks for the lyrics Godbless God is so Glorious
I saw my Sonor drums being represented. Then I saw who was playing them. Chris Coleman. Enough said. Chris playing with Israel. Can it get any better? Chris is one bad dude on the drums. This was about the simplest I have ever seen Chris play. Way to serve the music.
Thank you God you are glorious in my life, in my family, in my education, in my college applications, in my scholarship applications, in everything. Lord be glorified in my life!!! Glorious!!!!
this was was the first BJ Putnam song i heard when my new church decided we should sing this song during worship...totally love his music! As for the drummer 😍😍😍😍

man, drummer is chris coleman. used to play with Israel Houghton in the past concert Friend of God. now the drummer is in this one. man. he is one versatile, inspirational, and educational drummer.
Ok. First of all, Its all about God:) secondly, for those who are from some strange planet, Chris Coleman plays with some of today's Biggest Artists. He is an amazing and talented guy with a heart for God also which speaks for itself. He has recorded with likes of Kings of Leon to Israel Houghton and Justin Timberlake. Yeah I think he is pretty good!
