@@djyanaki it will work, but we have a special wiring adapter we're going to be coming out with to make it work as its not just as simple as splicing those wires.
Yes, this will work on all 1972-1991 Full Size Jeeps (SJ Model). The model in this video is a 1989, which has the most complicated wiring as it also has the defrost and wiper motor.
My rear window moves down about 2 inches using the dash button and then grinds to a halt. Will this relay bring my motor the power it needs to move the window?
Mine does the same at the moment. The problem in this case is the rear window lifter channel is rusted and rubs againt.. something. Maybe worth to have a look if this might be your problem as wel?
it will give it much more power to help it move more like when it was new (even slightly better). But, there can be multiple things inside the tailgate that cause it to slow down, including the material on the side channels coming apart / binding. we sell replacements for that if you need!
