If she's this expensive, I'd expect her to be very sturdy, resistant and top-notch quality. I bet she did amazing in that snow - I've seen people put dolls from much more "wallet-friendly" companies in the snow and even water for photoshoot purposes and (while I wouldn't do that), the dolls were fine afterwards. On another note, I can't get over how lovely this music is 😭❤

This is not an ordinary Barbie doll......I guarantee that this doll can handle the snow......

Yeah, BJDs are really expensive with all the parts. The price usually ranges from 200 to 600 dollars.

This one was over $1000 with the fullset sadly because of that I was only able to get the human fullset and even that was extremely costly

If you got everything she would've been close to $1400. . .maybe more. Lucywen alone is around $600 and the Centaur body is around $900 to $1000 if I recall correctly.

i'm not sure for this doll, but the stuff they use for beanie babies and other crafts are called glass cabochons, they come in a lot of sizes and you can paint them to make it look like they follow you :> just painting a black dot in the middle and some color will instantly give off the illusion it's following you :>

It’s because the eyes are hollowed in, creating the illusion of the iris following you.

Resin/urethane eyes are the best for this because they are sculpted, hollowed out, painted with depth. It is more work than most of the glass or plastic eyes that you see on the market. The ones she has are resin!

I have a Mini Dolfie Dream and she's cute but expensive. I'm also still a student :/ There's no way students like us could afford these haha. It's good enough for me to watch these to see if in the future they are worth buying.
