Please keep making awesome content about real fighters! This was a complete gimmick Boxing card. It felt like Amateurs mixed with WWE. I’m so glad I streamed it, announcers were awful, production lagged, what an awful experience
This might be the most INSANE video release i've ever seen. Having a doc prepared ahead of time to drop THE MOMENT the loss happens is insane. Honestly this was a HOF move.
This fan base of casuals doesn’t realize Dillon only signed up for a payday. Everyone in MMA knew he was just a BJJ guy. Dillon showed up for money he never intended on winning. lol at Logan acting like he just beat Ali
I wasn't paying close attention, and I was wondering how Dillon became such a bad person. Now I know the entire trajectory in detail. He had a mentor, lost his values in the pursuit of fame and money, found a new role model, sustained a long-term injury, trolled for money and relevance, has some childhood trauma... Before he barely threw any punches and eventually went for the takedown, I respected him just for showing up. Fighting on a big stage is scary. I have recurring dreams about it. This dude might actually "unalive" himself to stay relevant for another minute.
lol dillion threw like 10 punches in his whole life before this fight, there was no way he won, i was surprised how terrible logan was, couldn't knock down a walking punching bag
Marcello was like Dillon's father, but when Marcello was trying to instruct him and give him advise, Dillon just ignored it. Marcello obviously really cared about Dillon.. it's really sad that Dillon couldn't listen and take his advice. He'd have been a much better person today if he had.
@@castorcarvithere’s more to life than maximizing the amount of money you make, there are plenty of successful fighters who are respectful. His life sounds like endless torment, no amount of money is worth that.
I’m cryin. Posted within minutes of Dillion trying and failing a guillotine choke. That entire card was a joke from start to finish. How people pay for tickets or for the PPV is madness!!!!
@@Lolife86 yea I can’t believe they built an entire “boxing” crossover all with people who can’t box. I truly am blown away people by tickets to go see it live. So much delusion I can’t understand how these guys look at them selfs in the mirror.
THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!!!! I’ve been watching vids like this for a few months now & this one was not even in the same category! You’re on another planet here!!! I did not want this to end!!!! Instant subscribe!!! Man I can feel dillons pain too bc I have also suffered a ton of loss & trauma & have tried everything to numb that pain, block it out but absolutely nothing will heal you but therapy & personal growth. I was rooting for him before the fight bc he seemed more human but man this was sad. Somehow made me like him more & if he hadn’t partied last night, logan couldn’t get roided up & Dylan would have been serious and taken some risk, he had power & logan was tired so fast, it didn’t have to go down like this but I’m still rooting for him
Fantastic work, as expected. Your documentaries are always amazing and evocative, even when the subject isn't someone I admire. I end up respecting them more, simply because you spotlight every aspect of how they came to be who they are; the good, the bad, the ugly, and everything in between. Well done, Mr. Gavia.
i used to know a kid like this.. i protected him against bullies one time and then as time went on i realized he wasn't actually being bullied, he used to do and say some really stupid things to provoke people he shouldnt have, just to see if he could get away with it. this included his teachers, his peers, and even people he didn't even know. even his mum thanked me for watching over him, but she didnt even know the full extent of his trollery, though im sure she had an idea. he didn't have a moral compass on what was acceptable and what wasn't. he thought everything he did was a joke. when in reality, he was very insecure with who he was so he tried everything he could to be relevant to people and when they finally came after him he ran and hid. just a weasely coward of a kid. i tried so hard to train him right, but the more power and confidence you gave him, the more he would use it to enhance his agenda. then when i finally decided to sever ties, he began to provoke me like he could do something. im happy i never let it get to me, there were times where i was like " i should just whoop his ass" but i felt i was bigger than that and ultimately i felt bad for him. eventully, he went after one of my friends.. and they took care of him. lmao . he was a decent skater though, but wanted to be a fighter, which wasn't in the cards for him at all. after training him for a while, he just didnt have the discipline or motor skills. after trying to help and guide so many people; some successfully, and some not so much; you learn to read people very well. Danis has a problem, he needs to either smarten up himself or seek real help. hes going to turn into a real villain if he doesnt. he's digging himself into a hole that im not sure he cares enough to get out of. Im almost 12000percent sure Conor knows what his real problem is, but he probably feels bad for him too and holds it in confidence. and in a way, i think conor feeds off dillons antics and actually utilizes some of the technique. conor always had that ability to be a bit of a troll when he had to be, but he got real extra with it once he started hanging out with danis. Conor is probably the only one who can help him. it might end up being a good thing for both of their images and careers tbh.
@@KORNEWARRIOR He connected only 9 punches, versus 110 punches by Logan, it was a humiliating loss for him, and he failed the takedown and guillotine promptly after too, dont make excuses for him 🤣
The only question in my mind is how this guy don't even have 1m subscriber video quality story telling editing every single thing this channel deserves more than 10 mil
even if u don’t see this i wanted to to say thank u for these videos i love every single one of them i love ur passion to story telling ur a genuine master at it i’ve always been inspired by storytelling and particularly captivating stories and watching ur videos has given me a lot of inspiration to tell and craft my own stories and show them to the world the way u are able to captivate me and grab my attention about fighters i wouldn’t think have these deep personal emotional stories to tell and the way u set everything up is truly incredible
This was beautifully crafted in such a short time and you've done a good job of humanizing the troll behind the mask Patrick. Banger video, but especially after the fight , I feel like the man doesent have a backbone and is a coward. Humanizing villains is nice but that man needs to take some time off and do some healing because he has really fallen as evidenced by the fight.
WOW. well done. The final part really made me understand Dillons situation. His statement on idc if ppl love me or hate me, i just dont want to be forgotten. probably scars from Marcello leaving, dad leaving and passing away. Damn
Bro, Dillon wasn't even trying. Logan conjured all his experience, strength, still could not knock Dillon Danis down. Logan's team was always going to interfere, and not let Danis win fairly. This proves how rigged Misfits fights are.
Exactly!! I think Dillon treated the fight like a joke because they treated it that way with bending rules on the weigh in, no drug testing, he got a black eye and a fat payday and can focus on getting back to real fighting…whole card was a joke
Come on I don't like Logan at all, but quit the cope 😂 Dillon really embarrassed himself here, it could have been OK even if he lost but instead it really backfired. I don't think he'll ever go to the UFC.
This is insane Dillon learnt from Connor and used the trash talking effectively but I’m not sure if he got under Logan’s skin or not anyway I’m hearing he’s losing the fight right now
The dude is clearly depressed and suicidal only person he’s playing is himself. I actually kinda feel bad for him he needs therapy or some kind of treatment
Dillion is a lot more than the troll and douche attitude I truly feel for him he’s been dealing with his trauma all the wrong ways hope he goes down a better path from the this
After his fight i believe Danis thinks people will be behind him, but he proved that he is all talk. He embarrased himself by going for guillotines and double legs 🤔
Everyone knows Danis would submit both Paul brothers at the same time. This is boxing which he obviously showed up for a payday. Dillon has never even boxed Amateur. This was all about a payday and Logan couldn’t KO him
Yeah logan is a fucking joke, even though dillon is scummy, he is actually very likeable and talented, there is a reason people like him instead of logan paul
@@iceKOIdIt’s harder to KO than you think especially when your opponent is running around and trying to drop you from your legs in a BOXING match. Just accept that Dillon is nothing but talk and literally got annihilated. Lost all respect for the guy, especially after acting like an immature man child and couldn’t take the fight seriously. KOing is easier when you have a target coming at you that actually wants to fight, change my mind
Classic example of getting in with the wrong crowd. Had he stayed on Marcelo’s path, who knows, maybe he could have been an all time BJJ great and then moved on to become an mma champion.
Patrick, please dont lean too much into the hype. The masterpieces you dropped on Ngannou and Oliveira are the testament that there are so much cooler stories,of real champions,to show us!
@@PatrickGaviaI also heard Dillon say he had to show up and fight Logan to Paul the lawsuit. He sounded like he didn’t care win or lose. There was several times Dillon admitted defeat before the fight bY saying “who cares if I lose it’s a fake amateur boxing match, everyone knows what would happen if it was MMA”
I've got a pretty strong hunch that Patrick created a video for the scenario where Dillon knocked out Logan with a single punch in the first round, but it's something we'll probably never get to see.
Two things that came into my life in 2023, Chat gbt and Patrick's artworks. Another master piece Patrick. It's a great pleasure to follow your journey on RU-vid. With love.
Im not sure why every fighter needs to talk about how rough there past was . A LOT of people had a tough upbringing . Find a new talking point . Its tired and not q good reason to become a fighter
I totally agree, this was an absolute disgrace, back in the day it used to be a bit of fun, they'd go out and both swing like madmen at each other and it was fun to watch. Now, there's too much money even in influencer boxing and everyone's so terrified of getting knocked out that they barely throw.
Dillon Danis should NEVER be allowed fight in ANY professional combat sport EVER again. He’s an absolute embarrassment to the MMA and Brazilian jiu-jitsu communities
Logan showed up to be Muhammad Ali. Dillon showed up to pay off the lawsuit, I think both looked awful but Logan is supposed to be a boxer? I saw so many holes
I get that it’s “fun” to just hate on Logan and all. But I’m so happy he won. Any man who disrespects another man’s fiancé like that deserves to lose, sure, Logan and Nina have both made mistakes, but they seem happy.
@@barney_jones2606Fair point however Logan, Jake and KSI are the ones claiming to be boxers and all. As rubbish as Dillon was, he still went to their world and survived. Now let’s see Logan try to do the same in Dillon’s world, that’s all I’m saying.
He wanted to roll around on the ground with sweaty guys and hug them and trying to get to their rear. His dreams came true, then he was introduced to Ju Jitsu and the rest his history.
Got to say, Patrick Gavia has done a remarkable job at showcasing the other side of Dillon Danis through this. By all means, no excuse for Dillon’s actions regarding the abusive comments towards Logan’s fiance and he got what he deserved last night, however, this is exactly what being a content creator in combat sport is about 👏🏾
Idc what anyone says about Danis. He made something out of nothing and I respect him for that. Ofc his gimmicks are annoying but that’s how he had to stay relevant and sell himself in the fight game. Looking forward to his return to martial arts soon
