How similar to the EC-145 is this in terms of flying? They look somewhat identical and I'm wondering if eurocopter bought the design rights from kawasaki? Is the Thumb toggle on the cyclic trim? Great video too.. thanks for uploading

Very similar to the 135 in handling. 135 a little more automated depending on what model. Kawasaki actual produced under license from what was then MBB. Yes the thumb toggle is for trim...

EC-145 / H145 are certified under the Name BK117 C-2 / D2 etc. depends on the version, basically it's further developed version of the BK117

Nice POV! Just a small question. What does the white/red line at 90 kts on the speed indicator mean?

In Australia, you walk away from an acft that is turning and burning like that, bye bye pilot license. I assume it's ok in the US?

Heli Pilot . this was quite a few years ago when we still had the control locks on the BK's. and then we will only allowed to stay under the rotor diameter. we were not allowed to go too far only to assist medical Cruise in loading stretches a cetera. They're all some companies that are very strict and don't allow you to leave the controls whatsoever and then there are some pilots who tend to do their own thing at any time anyway. But yes technically you are probably correct
