I'm watching, step by step, all the video lessons and taking note of everything. Actually I'm improving more and more my technique. Thank you master J.V.
Sir whats with the righ-left-right-left hook to the body?Do u slip ur head while doing it?Or just throwing without slipping? Its very unnatural movement
Joe could you film more several minute long segments with the long heavy bag in as many future vids as possible, since that's the main bag most gyms seem to have including mine. This video from 9:14 to 10:25 is really helping me improve on my bag work (and ultimately my sparring as well) just by emulating Avial(sp?) and then improvising my own combos. You the man Joe and Avial(sp?). Thanks much.
@@RyanAggabao It's always weird when someone comments on your multiple year old comment and you sit there scratching your head not remembering posting it.
This is awesome. One of the best low kickers making free videos. There's no one better to learn dutch style kickboxing from than bazooka joe. him and stuart tomlinson have amazing material.
Absolutely loving this series Joe! As someone who trains solo alot I your breakdowns are really helping me work on specifics in technique. Keep this series coming! Hope to get my hands on a bazooka kickboxing t-shirt. If they can be shipped to Scotland that is!
This is good stuff but I don't see how it works for beginners. Watch Muay Thai Interclubs (smoker fights in London). Most amateurs come at each other with chain punches and the punches don't stop until someone tires. My only counter to this is to clinch and knee or sweep. This doesn't allow you to work on any other technique as beginner sparring is usually about winning rather than working on technique. Yes I know it should be about working on technique but in my limited experience my sparring partners are either beginners trying to knock you out or the pro fighter from my gym which are far superior and nearly impossible to hit (as a beginner). And yes I've been to other gyms... it's always the same.
