In this video I demonstrate how to replace a smashed rear window main glass in a BL Mazda 3 sedan (2009 to 2013).
Note that this same method works for the hatch, it just looks a bit different.
Apologies for the electric interference noise in the first few minutes. I forgot to turn off my solar panel inverter before I filmed the first bit.

I need to replace the rear passenger door on my 2015 Mazda 3, the replacement door comes without glass. your video has made me more confident in replacing the door as my real concern was how to replace the glass. Thank you from Essex U.K.

Great video and thanks from Kansas USA. 1 suggestion make sure you clean out the rubber track of all glass. Leave one piece and you could be doing this project again. Lol

Yes! That is great advice. Please everyone, do this. If you hear a scratching sound the first time you GENTLY put the window up, then you have a bit of glass left in the rubber track. Paul.

Thanks Paul for the very thought video, I have a 2007 Mazdaspeed 3 that I will be replacing the rear doors due to Rust. I'm guessing it's a very similar procedure? I'll use this video as a guide for sure. I wish you good luck on your Cancer diagnosis🤞 I'm from Edmonton Alberta, Canada.

Hey Paul, could you make a video to show how to remove all the beige interior parts (A,B,C,D pillar, headliner seat belt pillar...) on the mazda 3 hatchback 2010-2013 please. there is no youtube video that shows how :( I really love your video!

I'll see what I can do. I would need to buy a new hatch wreck to do this, and I am not sure if I will be able to. I'm still waiting on my cancer diagnosis. I know I am terminal. I just don't know how close to the end I am. In the video where I remove the dashboard, I show how to remove the A-pillar covers. The other pillars are very similar. You basically put a trim tool in behind the trim, and lever outwards.
