I absolutely love when editors choose the right songs and this one fits so perfectly. The sensuality of the melody/voice and how the lyrics go so well with their story, with all the toxicity happening between them, which I believe is the right portrayal of a really toxic couple in the series. The *Baby, stand and deliver* 0:32 goes with the scene. Like he’s standing there and totally delivering a message with how he handled Mac. The way the chorus plays along with the scene is uncanny: *Like a river, like a river* 0:39 0:54 *Shut your mouth and run me like a river* It’s Nan slapping Mac and actually shutting his mouth and going all over him and “run me like a river” is controlling someone, so Mac is actually being a Sub and letting his Dom control him, even if he tries to escape at first 2:30 he gives in and participates even. It’s not just Nan pulling him closer 1:48 and not letting him go, Mac is himself feeling like he can’t nor want him to let him go, even if his face tells otherwise 2:16 and Nan is always showing his dominance 2:21 and Mac knows that he’s forceful 2:24 and when he tries to escape, he knows Nan wouldn’t let him go, so isn’t it a way of provoking him and making him show himself more rougher? The transition to them kissing when the sensual melody can be heard 1:01 that was *chef’s kiss* even showing the seduction of Nan wanting to feel more of Mac, more of his body 1:05 *One kiss away from killing* 1:21 it’s perfect with Mac wanting Nan to let him go, but not being that convincing with the struggle, making him believe that he is this 👌 close to killing him, but letting Nan manhandle him as he pleases 👀 And I simply love the difference of Mac saying, “He then dragged me back” 1:28 with annoyance, to then show him in a questionable position of someone not being dragged but pleasured 1:30 *Holy hands will it make me a sinner* 1:45 Nan’s hands definitely would make Mac be a sinner, but Nan would be the only one taking him to church, worshipping him in the bedroom and there he would tell all his sins 😏 and the hands that were tough became soft and tender 2:27 If their story is explored well in a separate series, I believe they would become the it couple. With little screen they stole the show, so imagine their hotness and sizzling chemistry in a 12 episodes series. They don’t even need a side couple, they can lead a series all by themselves. Hearth and Non are on 🔥
Where does this moment come from with whiskey? He wasn't there in the fifth episode or has this scene already been cut? Vidio is just a bomb, like the couple itself)
