I find it had a better story than 2. In terms of gameplay, a lot of it is improvements from Borderlands 2. Despite that, 2 seems to be the better game, probably due to content. Pre-Sequel still kicks ass though, definitely will go back to it!
This game was such a gem. I loved the initial story but it never got a finished endgame. I'd like if gearbox actually went back and "finished" it so to speak but that's unlikely.
"Well, as my butler was eaten alive hours ago I suppose I shall introduce myself. [ahem] Lady Aurelia Hammerlock, a pleasure." Honestly, Aurelia is a pretty fun character to play in TPS and I do feel like she's a bit underrated. She might come off as really high and mighty for a good chunk of the game, but after everything that happens with Felicity and Jack airlocking the scientists, her tune changes a bit and she does start to see the monster Jack is becoming. After beating RK5, Aurelia admits that while bloodlust can be fun, Jack is taking (his) bloodlust a bit too far. Even at the end of the game when you hand the last quest in, she genuinely tells Jack to off himself, and admits that while she is evil, Jack is just something else entirely. I don't think any other Borderlands character has ever told Jack to off himself, so Aurelia was probably the first to tell him that.
The Helios themes are among my favorites of the Borderlands series. The ambient theme gives this Badass feel to the exploration, while also giving off a sense of urgency; a sense that you're in a hurry. You don't get much exposition/tutorial opening like in BL2. You're launched right into the fray, with Zarpedon's forces closing in on all sides.
Pre Sequel in my Opinion is one of my Favorites of The series, The soundtrack, The Story, The Moon Setting, the only thing i would Complain is the Level Design (veins of helios lol)
I love the whole space setting. Being able to stand on a destroyed ship and look out into the abyss sure is something to behold... before turning around and getting smacked by an alien.
A whole game dedicated to a villain who died already this game was a masterpiece an amazing story. This game wasn't made to be better than bl2 quite clearly but it had one of the best borderlands dlcs
Not very often I find myself just really getting into the music in video games but borderlands the pre sequel has some of my favorite including this one which is my favorite one out of the game(so far) I can have it on repeat for a good while
Ima say it…I enjoy the pre sequel the most out of all the borderlands games. It’s short n sweet, soundtrack kicks ass, really shakes up the combat just by adding low grav, the aesthetic is to DIE for, and it has more jack. Gotta love more Jack
Easily the best track in the game. Really gets you hyped and makes you feel badass. It's too bad the rest of the soundtrack didn't ever reach this level.

Don't know why people says that this borderlands was the worst if it is the most diferent by far from the other three that. From b1 to b3 are the same with same gravity, it is unreal that all planets have the same gravity. The story... man this borderlands changed all and completed the master piece of b2 (handsome Jack was right) it has the best dlc. The oxigen thing wasn't that bad the unconfortness was minimal and you get used to it quick (clap trap wasn't a fected bother oxigen).
When you start Borderlands 2, the game gives you time to screw around. when you start the Pre-Sequel, you are immediately thrown into the heart of the battle, not knowing what the fuck is going on, forced to make your way through hordes of Lost Legion's soldiers
That's what I like about borderlands pre-sequel, your immediately thrown into battle at first I was like, "What the hell is going on!?" Because I never expected to know about the lost legion until they gave more info about them!
@GreenTea It's a Borderlands expancion, I would say, and shouldn't be compared to Borderlands 2. A lot of work done to it? Ahem: 1) reskined enemies 2) guns ported from Borderlands 2 3) same graphics
@@Uragan00829 1. New mechanics. 2. No stupid slag. 3. Actually good skill trees and abilities overall. Unlike Gaige or Maya in BL2. 4. FANTASTIC dlc about Claptrap. But the final boss sucked tho. But the story and the messions were awesome and fun. 5. Charactere are more real and fun. 6. Grinder.
the start of the music makes me think of a space ship or capsule slowly rotating into potition to dock up with the space station, locking in, and having the air lock pressurize and then you start having space pirates or mercs flowing out of the air lock with guns starting to take over the space station. When the music changes to combat, its now on you, your the player and your task is "Eliminate or capture the pirates" And then combat ensues.
Somehow it tells me that daft punk was also making this track and gearbox did hire them for the music tracks in some parts of the game and daft punk could not refuse it..❤ i love them

Matteo Venturini eeeeeeh. Honestly wait for a sale, the pc port isn’t unplayable but it’s kind of half assed and hasn’t been patched in a while. It’s definitely playable but when compared to the next two games it could of been a lot better.
Matteo Venturini fair enough. I can see why, hell I love it too. Just that it’s gonna be weird going from bl2 and tps to bl1. I’m not spoiling anything, just it’s kinda barebones.
@@roman108 Well Vorago Solitute theme is great. The rest is OK for me. The Pre Sequel sountrack horewer has one major flaw: It isn't Borderlands 2 sountrack. Seriously, BL2 raised the bar for Borderlands sountrack very high. But atleast Claptrap DLC has great music!
