Black 5 44871 steams through Bedfordshire on "The White Rose" - 24/02/2024 

Happy Belated New Year to all my subscribers and viewers Hope everyone is keeping very well and welcome to my first upload for 2024!
Saturday 24th February 2024 would see Ian Riley's Black 5 no 44871 make its usual rostered turn with The Railway Touring Company, hauling "The White Rose" from London Kings Cross to York & return to Peterborough, hauling WCR's rake of CDL fitted MK2e stock following the revoking of the company's allowance to use non CDL fitted stock (the majority being the ubiquitous MK1s)
This short upload sees 44871 steaming across the Bedfordshire flats at Langford nr Biggleswade in an early morning sunlight as she presses north towards York, look out for next Saturday as a more appropriate locomotive will head up the ECML on a similar itinerary stay tuned!
