Not that I disagree with the general points made but, we have very more interactions with whites than whites have with Blacks. That often means that we are generally much more adept at recognizing patterns in the behavior of white than the reverse. Quite frankly, we have to be as European Americans run everything. Most students attend college away from the area where they live. The challenge is to stay focused and not get caught up in the gang life. Unfortunately many kids don’t have the support of their immediate community ( parents, grandparents, aunts or uncles) in these cases they have to search hard for a mentor such as someone in a community service, church, teacher or mentoring program. These are the types of programs that BLM should be working on, rather than donating millions to political campaigns and buying multi million dollar properties in high income neighborhoods. Somehow children need to be encouraged starting at the early learning level with a village that lifts them up.
