RIP the GOAT. I started to take interest in learning other languages because of Laoshu. I remember coming home from school everyday and checking RU-vid for his videos.
Your accent is really good in all languages including Russian, which is very difficult for foreigners to learn. Most of these so called "polygots" have very poor pronunciation, but yours is spot on. Keep up the good work, my friend!
I agree. Most self proclaimed polyglots only learn a part of a language to get there number of languages they speak higher. “I speak 14 languages” okay but they don’t sound good at all
@@Checkmate777 Exactly. There is this one pretty popular youtuber polyglot and he "speaks" like 20 languages but only has reasonably good pronounciation in maybe 4. Heard him speaking Hebrew my native language and I had to pause and play again a few times to understand what he said.
Him and the other Foreigner and black guy do what a lot of the African kids did a better education actually they learn all these different European languages I knew that they wasn't from America just by looking but everybody else can't tell

Love it, really shows you how speaking many languages opens so much doors and brings people together. The way there faces light up when they realized you can speak their language is priceless.
Your Italian is quite good, but your German is on a whole other level. 😉 I follow some American RU-vidrs who live in Germany and their accent is usually very telling. I'm also impressed by the fact that you learned Swedish since it's not spoken by that many people and most Swedes can speak English. 👍

@@jackwinings9986 Not familiar with it but it could mean 'tight' because both fingers are pressed tightly together. Now I do remember a gesture where the 'gesturer' puts two fingers against the lips, kissing the fingers, indicating 'delicious' as in food.
Thats impressive to be speaking so many languages at such a young age. I like to get a good understanding or decent comprehension on a foreign language before starting a another one, maybe every 3 years.

I like swedish as well lol, I got really bored one day, wanted to learn a language started with swedish got frustrated after hitting a conversational level switched to italian can speak conversational-fluent italian and still speak swedish if I get a chance. I also know like random phrases in like 3 other languages would like to know more but its quite difficult.

This is cool. I also used to watch videos of Laoshu years ago before he died. He was a black polyglot who spoke several languages and used to go to random restaurants and stores and speak people's languages. 🙂🙂🙂
I personally was in Nigeria! I was then about plbs minus 5-6 years, we went there with my parents, when we visited Egypt we decided to go somewhere else for the sake of non-zeal, in Nigeria you can really count as the cheapest visa in all of Africa!

So interesting the Russian man said it was terrible in the 90s. My family was a sponsor for a World Cup in the 90s and some Russian players stayed with us. Their cleats were falling apart and held together with duct tape. They really had nothing with them and just wanted to buy American jeans to sell back in Russia to support their families. It was a culture shock for our family and the players and having that experience as a kid definitely had an impact on me.
your swedish is INCREDIBLE it's so cool that you know all these languages, I just have one tip, in swedish, when you know SOMEONE you say ''känner'' (jag känner sara) but when you ABOUT something you have to use some form of ''vet'', which is usually followed by ''att' (to) or om ''(about) or something else so you'd say ''Jag VET ATT du hatar bilar'' ''jag VET OM det som hände igår'' ''jag VET VAD du ska säga'' keep up the good work :)))
