In this video, I will be sharing my personal thoughts and opinions about the Black Barbie Documentary. Also, I will share my Black Barbie toy haul. #barbieshopping #doll #80stoys #vintagetoys #vintagetoycollector
I love the series Black Barbie too. The doll came out when I was 5 years old. The majority of my dolls are black, but I like a variety of dolls. I like redheads, Asian, and Latino dolls. They are all beautiful. 😊😊😊😊
I love your perspective and analysis of the movie and your passion with respect to racial biases and the lack of representation of gorgeous black queens. It's pretty weird to me that any beautiful skin color would be left out of the barbie line. I will never understand racism. All little girls deserve to have themselves represented in their dolls. It's shocking to me that this was even an issue for a doll line. When I was a little girl my first doll I ever had was a black baby doll named Melba. She was my favorite doll and my only doll because we didn't have money. I didn't know the difference between black and white and I still don't. We're all human with skin that happens to differ in shades of the same color. I don't know. To me, we are all like birds or flowers or any other species of living thing with differing exterior. We can have different feathers, but it's still a bird. Ya know? I don't know. This video has inspired me to ponder these things. Thank you for that. Lovely and beautiful video. xo PS my mother high jacked my identity, as well. She was a demon. We have a lot in common. I'm so glad we're new dollie friends. You are a special person. xo
I love this video! So fun and informative. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I’m so happy we have so much variety and diversity these days, it’s so important for all of us. I loved the documentary too, I cried a few times. I watched it three times and enjoyed it a lot. Beautiful collection my friend! I’m looking forward to your future videos. 😁💝
New sub here. I came over after you left a nice comment over on my channel. I never thought about swapping out bodies with the made-to-move tennis player until I watched this. Great idea!! ❤
