With baby season in full swing, new cubs for the year are arriving! Because these babies are very energetic at this stage of their lives, it is important for our rehabilitation staff to provide them with lots of enrichment, including supervised playtime!
This is a short-lived period in their lives as for most of their time in rehabilitation, they do not interact with humans directly. They also only interact with specific human caretakers at this stage to avoid developing a
familiarity with all humans so they can thrive in the wild. Though they are very cute, make no mistake, cubs can play rough! Don't try this at home 🐻
