Wow..... only recently I have started to get to know about the indo Guyanese history....it is very similar our Fiji Indians history.... I am a descendant of the indentured labourers from India. Been in Fiji islands from late 1800's....., fortunately we have been able to maintain our language and culture. Would love to visit Guyana one day

I just want to visist fiji and carrebian as just want to know how much indian is inside you when you never been to india. And how some of you are preserving indian culture more than india. Your ancestor were from deepest region of India which is still rural somewhat. Now most of indians are aware about fiji mauritus guyana trinidad(very much ) suriname( hindus like Vice President adrin very much) . A lot marketing was done from late Naipual ( however he liked to be more indian than Trinidad)
