I love how black butler has characters of so many different origins other than Japanese and even a bengali anime character!? It was so awesome seeing one tho
This series does a Model UN cast of characters (Canada, Ireland, India, China, and New Zealand) right because it's just their individual stories to tell and their races aren't the focus.
Watch the short "Welcome to the Phantomhive's" where the listener is invited to the manor. When we meet Soma and Agne, Soma instantly falls for the listener and says "i liked you instantly, would you like to be my handmaid? Or if you prefer, my- my wife..."
He's definitely one that you wanna bring home to meet your mom, and is proof that it's so nice to be ridiculous sometimes. He would not give your dad a heart attack.

@@Katya2000 who's saying to give them an American accent u do know that the accent that are used exgratedly are by white people playing the role of brow person or asking the actor to do it in exgratedly way also alot of indians nowadays speak fluent English and also what's your point?

@@laurenmungaray3912 just because his indian doesn't mean he will have an accent also this guys are clearly stated in the manga that they speak quiet fluent English without an accent in sight so yeah also the voice actor was literally a white ass man purposefully doing that overexggrated accent!

I’m Indian, and most indian people i know don’t speak like that - all they’ve done is get somebody who probably isn’t even indian to fake an over exaggerated indian accent. In the manga it’s also stated that they all speak English fluently so he shouldn’t even be speaking with an indian accent to begin with.
i am so tempted to watch black butler just for him and agni and idk if that's a good or bad idea. please don't tell me either of them dies. i don't care if their screentime is limited as long as their writing is good, their backgrounds are well handled for an anime from 2008, and that they both live relatively happily at the end.
