Looking you over And you don't know my name yet But by the time you looked away Already knew I couldn't fake it I got this need for you Forming in my beating heart I knew the meaning right away We only yesterday, were worlds apart I think I may love you If you give me some time, Maybe you'll love me too I got this thing for you If you come closer I can whisper in your ear And if you wanna walk away I'll tell you all the things I know you wanna hear. I'll come closer To you if you Come over I know we'll go farther Farther with you With you I'm in warm water swimming down. I think I may love you, if you give me some time, Maybe you'll love me too I'll come closer To you if you Come over I know we'll go farther Farther with you With you I'm in warm water swimming down. I'll come closer To you if you Come over I know we'll go farther Farther with you With you I'm in warm water swimming down.
Her voice is so rich, dark, and smooth. Every time her pitch goes lower and lower, it just feels like a chocolate melting down. It's even more addicting to listen to while unplugged. >w
That last "You I'm in " absolute chills . After all these years this song Just Hits too different every time and I play it probably 10 times over every time 😆😂
She sound JUST like the song. Nothing different at all! Just the fact that it's acoustic. But er voice and the actual song has no difference whatsoever...👏👌🙌💯
Worked out the chords for everything but the "I think I may love you" bit: 1st chord: bar 7th fret do an a7 shape (ring finger on 4th string 9th fret and middle finger on 2nd string 8th fret) 2nd chord: bar 5th and ring finger on 5th string 7th fret 3rd chord: same shape but moved up to 7th fret (I also do a little run down here to make it sound like he plays roughly so just move you ring finger forward one fret then back down if you get what mean) You can play it lower like he does at the end which is a bit easier as well which is: Eminor Aminor Bar 2nd with a7 shape (ring finger 4th string 4th fret and misled finger 2nd string 3rd fret) Hope this helps some people :)
+feelconscious hey there. the C#m7b5 and Cmaj7 doesnt sound right to me for some reason. im hearing the bass not he plays and it sounds like hes on the fifth fret of the A string then down to the fourth fret. any help? thx in advance
+David Tran If you listen closely at 1:03 you can really hear the bass note descend from C# to C. 4th fret of the A string to 3rd fret. It sounds to me like these two chord shapes: x4545x -> x3545x. Hope that helps!
+feelconscious wow thx! u r greatly appreciated. when he plays the lower version of the verse after the bridge, what are the chords and bass notes that he plays on that run down?
I absolutely relish this version. I would love it on album. The studio version is fantastic but the passion is more apparent, palpable, inescapable with the raw vocals and the guitarist's flare and rhythm. It's an intimate and hypnotic version.
This is awesome!! I love Banks and Khordelia. Wish they would collab and make some trippy dark Portishead style vibes. They're all I'm listening too these days. x
Only found out about her yesterday. Sounds good on record. Great acoustic performance here. Ticket to KOKO in March booked. I just HAVE to see her live.
