If you're new to carrying opt for a hammer fire instead of a striker fire. the difference is a HFs first trigger pull is around 11-14 lbs and every other pull is around 4-6 lbs, a SFs trigger pull is 6-7 lbs for every pull. Hey just a quick comment, I’m in Pennsylvania and Can’t have CCW permit if you have medical marijuana. It’s one or the other. It’s total B.S. if you ask me. You can be a crackhead or dragon chaser and still carry a gun as long as you never get in trouble, but medically necessary meds disqualify you. You can be addicted to pain meds or benzos but since you get them from a doctor, with a script, it’s ok to Conceal Carry. Such a hypocritical, double standard, if there ever was one. Best state to get a conceal carry permit is Utah. You can do it all through the mail if you're not a resident. Utah's permit is recognized by more states that allow it than any other. It's not very expensive either. I think I paid about $150 for mine.

You can look up your state's reciprocity for carry permits But you have to be a resident of the state in order to get a carry licence in that state like I'm from Georgia In mine is good for Most States except New York California in North Carolina at least the last time I checked it's like 26 out of the 50 State accept it

You have to get your carry permit in your state of residence, and I think the Texas carry permit has the largest accepted state reciprocity.
