Opeth, but even heavier Though, opeth was pretty heavy, but not 8 string heavy this is like if the good Doom OST (2016/Eternal) had a baby with Opeth its jazzy, groovy and ball crushing metal with a Deep Message, emotional words Singing and Screaming isnt meant just for Metalcore.
Selves We Cannot Forgive Lyrics [Verse 1] Broken in all its beauty Processed by pallid eyes Bound together in tribulation Beg to see beyond the sky [Verse 2] Broken vessel shorn of beauty Purity in pallid eyes Lost inside its tribulation Nothing lives beyond our sky [Verse 3] Hold on to hope forever Devote it all with sobbing eyes Love despite our wrathful nations And never shake the urge to die [Chorus] Imploding in all directions As my name is forgotten This broken worldly implication We will never be forgiven [Bridge] Living as the selves We can not forgive Leaving for the selves We can not forgive [Chorus] Imploding in all directions As my name is forgotten This broken worldly implication We will never be forgiven [Chorus] Imploding in all directions As my name is forgotten This broken worldly implication Doubles back and scours me
Wasn't as big a fan of The Wreckage of the Stars as I was Song of the Crippled Bull, but this album really lived up to the melancholic genius of your first EP. Selves We Cannot Forgive is a masterpiece.
people have been saying it's crap but I think the opposite, along what you said. It's great. Been with these guys since a bit after The Crippled Bull. just amazing
I love this song. Seeing them live was one of the best shows I've ever seen. I went home wishing they'd be back the next day to do another show. This song in particular was FANTASTIC live.
"Broken in all its beauty processed by pallid eyes bound together in tribulation beg to see beyond the sky Broken vessel shorn of beauty purity in pallid eyes lost inside its tribulation nothing lives beyond our sky hold on to hope forever devoted all with sobbing eyes love despite our wrathful nations and never shake the urge to die broken in all directions hence my name is forgotten this broken worldly implication we will never be forgiven living as the selves we cannot forgive leaving for the selves we cannot forgive" No official lyrics available on the net, but this is my interpretation.
Broken in all its beauty. Processed by pallid eyes. Bound together intribulation. Beg to see beyond the sky. Broken vessel shorn of beauty. Purity in pallid eyes. Lost inside its tribulation. Nothing lives beyond our sky. Hold onto hope forever. Devote it all with sobbing eyes. Love despite our wrathful nations, and never shake the urge to die. Imploding in all directions, As my name is forgotten. This broken worldly implication, we will never be forgiven. Living as the selves we can not forgive. Leaving for the selves we can not forgive. Imploding in all directions, As my name is forgotten. This broken worldly implication, we will never be forgiven. Imploding in all directions, As my name is forgotten. This broken worldly implication, Doubles back and scours me.
Listening to this kinda reminds me of the first EP, and I love it. Contrast was the things that got me in love with earlier BCI, and they seem to get back on their track with that song. Sad and calm, yet get some pretty heavy parts.
Loved Wreckage, but a few listens through and I'd say this is even better. Drums sound so much better on this album, and of course the variances are fantastic. Keep it up. I promise to listen to this as we ride out the next apocalypse!
Just discovered BCI yesterday and am on repeat with their music nonstop. This is seriously amazing music!!! The deep growls are soooo low and amazing and the clean vocals are gorgeous!! I hear a lil Opeth, In Flames, Into Eternity...truly this album is a masterpiece. Super excited to see you are from Pennsylvania, would love to see you live in Springfield, Mo someday!! Rock on!!!
This brings to my mind Edge of Sanity's song Crimson. I'm not sure why really, not really similar technically but more like melodically, parts of this fit right in with the song. This is probably a stupid comment, just kinda brings memories of Crimson and I think that's cool. Both awesome songs, really like this.
I came to see you in Leeds with Born of Osiris and Veil of Maya. They didn't let anyone in for ages so by the time we got in, we missed you. I'm gutted as I really wanted to see you for the first time. Another time maybe :(
I was at that gig to see BCI and was livid. Saw them a couple of years ago in Manchester with Rivers of Nihil and spoke to James (vocals) about it. He was really cool about it and is a REALLY good guy. Can't wait to see them again.
I hope they do more like this song this song is so good lyrics actually mean something, have a good message, or a deep message Musicians are talented guitarists kill it, drummer kills it, singer is great, id listen more and more bassist does a good job too, he keeps up, but Beyond Creations Bassist was a killer but this guy is good, fits the music I also love the genre changes in the song a little jazzy, super metal, a little groovy, very emotional very powerful one of my new top 10 favorites, id probably put this in my top 5.
That is a great song. Sorrowpsalm is a favorite of mine off of the album. But really, this entire album is awesome. I just discovered this band like a day ago and I am already a fan.
Can anyone explaine to me what the "vicious lives" song is about? I have grown quite fond of it, it gives me such good, relaxing vibes, also a felling of great sadness overwhelms me each time I listen to it, but I don't seem to understand what it is about... Must be my scarce knowledge of the language since I'm not a native speaker... I understand all the words and sentences but I have a feeling that I miss out something big in all this...
