Wow. I'm nudging 70years and we used to play this song at high school in 1970. These kids pulled off a very, very difficult time signature, with great aplomb and ability. All power to you. Don't let the naysayers drag you down kids. You executed off a ripper song over and above your years. Bravo
Lets be straight.....it takes serious talent to pull this song off. Crazy time signatures and complex parts for all. Amazing job by all, but that girl on bass.......😳 She is crazy, crazy good 🤙🙏🤘👊
Hello. These kids are awsome. When I listened the song I thought that was LED ZEPELLIN... Estos chicos son increibles, cuando oi la cancion, Pense que era LED ZEPELLIN. GRACIAS JOVENES
@@David_Theisen Yes he would. I saw an interview with Plant where the interviewer played a clip of a Japanese girl, about 8 or 9, was drumming a Led Zeppelin song. Robert Plant was pleased. Led Zeppelin music will be here long after this we are gone.
Man, I just love to see young people carrying on the honest to goodness, pure and classic ROCK and ROLL! KUDOS to these talented kids!!!! Fabulous job!
Have you seen the Japanese girl Yoyoka drumming along to 'Good Times, Bad Times' by Led Zepp? There's a video of Robert Plant watching her out there too...…......she brilliant!
The government needs to intervene and regulate song access from the internet, especially Spotify. Musicians make nearly nothing on royalties. No choice but to tour 10 months a year...
Really impressive. I'm shocked that these are kids! The lead singer sounds like a kid of course, but her voice is great, and her timing is perfect. Excellent bass, and lead also. What a future they have!
There’s good and bad shit from every era. Stop acting like the Osmonds didn’t exist at the same time this record was originally released. There’s just more music, more readily available now. You can tailor you taste to a perfect fine point now. That’s why the billboard charts are nearly completely irrelevant now. Type Led Zeppelin (or any other of your old man bands) into bandcamp. I bet you find 1000000000 brand new bands still making what you call “real music.” It’s out there - just for you. Cut your shit, find what suits you, and ignore what’s more someone else’s speed. The internet is a beautiful place. This this the best time in history to be an art appreciator.
bl00df4rt Fair comment. Lots of great bands to love back in the day and now. I was down with LED Zep, Grand Funk, Johnny Cash too. Also actually liked the Osmonds in the early 70’s. ( Although I had to keep that one a secret! Lol). To each their own. I never could or ever will groove to James Brown or Sly and the Family Stone. Not knocking them. They are/were excellent at their thing. I just can’t make the connection. That too is a bit of a secret. Lol
The drummer ain't gettin' enough cred here....when I was his age, I couldn't have pulled this off like he did. Well-done, dude. And the bassist is killing it.
Plus, he's a great guitarist as well. They cover Journey's Stone in Love where he plays guitar. He busts a string at the beginning but recovers at the end.
A child singing "Hey, hey baby when you walk that way , Watch your honey drip, I can't keep away" in front of the church. Priceless. Not sure they studied lyrics carefully.
Once upon a time Sting says: "In that town where I came from you got only the choice with such big hands like mine to play bass or to punch people in their face."
Some could post he is giving everyone a million dollars and actually do it and some 40 year old dude living in his parents basement would still thumbs down.
@@aliciaencaderada1361 exactly!! I'm sure there a group of dickweeds who just scroll through posts givings thumbs down. Generally repressed individuals
Now that I've seen a (10?)-year-old girl sing "I don't know but I been told -- a big-legged woman ain't got no soul" -- I think I've pretty much seen it all. I can go home now
There are videos of her on YT, as recently as February 2020. She is part of the "Paul Green Rock Academy" progem. Look for her in other videos posted from the same YT account as this one. This is one of her in 2019: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9gVlBpRmYis.html
hexdude24 are you delusional. The only drummer zeppelin ever had was John Bonham. All albums were John Bonham. They disbanded after his death. They have never made another record after Bonham !!!
@@craigschoen6376 What do studio recordings have to do with my comment? The kid can play a Bonham song period. You reading too much into my comment. And yes. Plant, Page, and Jones have played live with Phil Collins and Jason Bonham to name a couple. I am done wasting time with your trolling.
Oh Man, I'm so happy! Nothing but rave reviews for these talented kids! so many people who's faith in mankind was restored by the great kids! My own faith in my fellow man is restored by all you cool people who have enough pizzazz to see how good these youngsters were, and hopefully. are still. Thankyou!
Nathan Swann Technically Bonzo wasn’t late in black dog. He was playing 4/4 whilst the guitars were playing 9/8. I’m not being facetious though, :) I just watched on vid on the technicalities of Led Zep songs.
What an outstanding performance by the drummer ! But that acknowledged, the whole band was excellent. Quite hard to understand how they could be that good.
No, it's a straight 4/4 but the crash cymbal at the beginning is on the AND of one. The riff starts (4) u & u 1 u &. Once you have catched that it's not that difficult. But don't misunderstand me. These kids are awesome.
No matter how far they go in their musical careers they’ve learned that hard team work, cooperation and perseverance pays off. That will be valuable in all areas of their lives. Rock on kids!
Unbelievable. That was excellent. Very difficult Zeppelin cover. Tough time signature. The bassist is superb. So pleased to see kids in their generation appreciate - and play - good music.
@@FredTheLutinoCocatielactually I change my ways and now sing and dance! I’m also a horse back rider! My name is Grey and currently now I’m actually not a girl anymore I’m a enby, gender-fluid teen! I was a girl back then in that vid! I felt like guitar wasn’t really my thing so I starting singing! I’m also now a warriors fan! It’s a book by Erin Hunter! -Grey (they/them and he/him pronouns)
Having listened to this song for nearly fifty years, I can say this is a good cover, especially for children. Strangely, Black Dog is only 4 chords repeated over and over yet it is hard to do well. Sometimes Zeppelin would play this in concert and you couldn't recognize it. Little Miss Plant has a powerful voice, the critical bass part was played well, and I liked the rawness of the guitar.
And the drummer !!! … plays so well. A stand out, imo. I listened to JB straight afterwards and recommend anyone to do the same. Then you will realise just how good this kid is!
Blows me away everytime i see this.!!!! For a live band they sound more fuller and full on than any recording including the original. Love this version better.💖💖 Gr8 musicianship and feel and they are so in sync with each other...😎👌👍🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
The little girl in front with the plastic guitar is just the cutest thing. I love how the bass player acknowledges her with smiles during the song and gestures to her at the end. The whole band rocks this song, especially the bassist.
I’m girl with pink guitar out in front of the stage and I used to play guitar and now I sing and I’m still really talented if u didn’t see my ears aka cochlear implants those were n5s I have the n7s and now fucking 12 years old I’m deaf btw
@@thedailyfashionsnowyfamily1328 You are doubly awesome here! 1st You were just the most adorable, fun kid here. (I have a daughter and son. The years between 2 and 6 are magical.) I noticed the ear thingy and thought it just added to your cuteness because nothing slowed you down. 2nd. I like that you found this clip and commented with an update. I shall check out your singing. :: Anyhow, thanks for posting!
Started watching out of curiosity and had to keep going till the end. Great performance from these youngsters. Well done and good luck for your future which can only get better. Cheers.
Just incredible! It's appalling that there are 624 dislikes. I have heard two adult LZ cover bands absolutely butcher this song, and along come these unbelievably talented kids and they KILL it! Bravo!!!
Now this is freaking impressive. Also saw their equally impressive video of Rush's Spirit Of the Radio some time ago. Amazing. I truly hope they go far in their musical careers. The singer, the bass player especially, I'd be disappointed if they don't.
St Marks church father to the kids ; Ok children , what will it be then ? Away in a manger , silent night or amazing grace ? The little girl ; I think we’ll do Black Dog by led zep The father ; Black what by led who ?????🤪😂😂
Oh my. I'm gobsmacked. This is incredible. On another note, please take a look on eBay in the coming days for a Fender Strat and a Gibson Les Paul for sale...
I figured out why these youngsters are so good. I have now watched several of their videos and realized what this is really about. They are students in a music school where they are getting taught firsthand how to perform their parts. These ones are the top students, the ones who actually practice at home and develop real music skills. If you keep working at it under tutelage, you get really good at it! That why they are so young yet so good. The lead singer I know is taking vocal lessons because she's too young to know who Led Zeppelin is on her own plus I doubt she understands what the lyrics actually mean. She looks 10 but could be 12 or even 13. Very good band but they are not a garage band or local house band. They are the "all stars" from a local rock music school.
@@DavidTeolis That's this little girl singing Purple Rain? Wow! The little girl has grown to be a beautiful woman. I knew she wouldn't stop singing. She was already great in this video, but she is a great singer now. I'm sure she will keep rocking. The band is also great. Thanks very much, David, for giving me the link. Take care now.
@@wilsonhaven I once read an interview where he was asked about his voice and he said something like, 'I just kept singing until it developed into the girlish whine it is today.'
