Black fathers, we see you. We support you. We love you.
Father Noir is a visual memoir celebrating Black fatherhood, created by Black Love founder and father of three boys, Tommy Oliver. We have been sharing images and video of Black fathers and their children in black and white since 2021 because Black love is fatherhood. We believe visibility is critical to impacting the narrative around Black families so we make a point to capture and share sweet moments between some of our favorite fathers and their kids annually.
This year, Tommy captured portraits of fathers Michael Ealy, Lance Gross, Karega Bailey, and Robbie Jones, as well as Keith Powers and Marcus Scribner photographed with their dads. Our hearts are melting from these sweet moments.
Father Noir was created by Tommy Oliver and brought to you in partnership with Target.
