Thanks for getting these shows out there! I had the bootleg cassette of this show on heavy rotation along with psalm 69 and vulgar display. Rocking out in my Ford Tempo on my way to high school 94-95.
Bill Stevenson walked over and talked to every one who wanted to talk last Descendants show I show. He was generous with fans but was brutally funny, absolutely was in Black Flag. Someone brought a stack of LPs of every record he played on to sign and he went "did you just stand there all night holding those fucking records?!"
@@Amfrabrikerbabbin I'm going to assume he had them in his car then got them out, but the exchange was funny. Someone also asked him to do a short video with him for tiktok I assume and he said "no" with a millisecond, but did take pics, it was a good show and it's dawned on me they probably won't be touring much in the future.
Saw them on this tour,. A tall kid in liberty spikes got into a shouting match. The Kid wanted Herny to get a haircut. Billy squire look alike. Had a fucking blast ! The crowd was more active than this one. Stage dove during Rise above. I dont know what blink 182 , green day and all those so called bands were that came after this but they werent punk. There was some raw, nastiness and danger to a real show. That cant be recaptured.
@@liveloudandprosper Maybe just unconsciously. It was our thing. we didnt really call it by any name. There was no idea of a future in music Just the band some kids and maybe some beer. No bouncers at this show..no cops no medical. No one wanted to see them in some big venue or even thought about it. far cry from the millions today.
I seen and heard Henry speak one time in Ontario Canada one year and I have to say the man talked about true hardcore sense. this video was awesome though I would be having my birthday 3 days after this concert and just turning 7 and getting my first Slayer album "Show No Mercy." LP.
@@liveloudandprosper yes I have heard that and I was at that show where Henry drank a whole glass of his nasty sweat. I’ve told this story many times but I can tell not many believed me.
Grateful Dead the next night at Brendan Byrne Arena in East Rutherford. Wonder how many of these guys went? Two or three. At least to party in the parking lot.
I wonder if Jerry Garcia taught this guitar player how to tune his guitar and actually learn how to play. Hopefully Bill Kreutzmann taught this drummer how to actually keep a beat too.
