Prefer gels under 1.0; waterproof .5 and below replace FP's for detail work but still like my free flowing ink. Fav gels in .7 would be old school Zebra G-301 for sentimental reasons along with Pentel EnerGel Liquid Gel Ink in both Metal and Needle Tip.
I love the tul pens when they work but they skip and "dry out" a little and i have to skribble a ton to get them to work again. Very annoying bc otherwise theyre so good :(

My favorite pen is the Pentel EnerGel .07 Try the needle point, it’s nice. I’ve tried most of those you reviewed today and my thoughts are similar to yours. Great video! ❤
My favorite pens definitely change based on the paper I’m writing on. My top 3 are 1. Uni-ball Singo DX, Pilot Hi-Tec-05, and Pilot G2. Paper Mate Inkjoy would make the list if the ink flow was consistent.
I totally agree about the Inkjoy! I have had packs that were fine and some that definitely weren't. I'll add your pens to my list for next time so I can test those out. I haven't used a G2 in FOREVER.
I have noticed that the paper type is a factor in pen choices for me. I LOVE all the Sarasa pens on the Plum Paper Planner, but not so nice on the Erin Condren Planner. I use the Frisson products in my EC Notebook where I created my own check register. Being able to erase mistakes is a plus. I also find that they never smudge when I highlight them. This was a great test. I might give it a try!
loved this comparison! my current faves are the zebra blen 0.7 and the tul gel 0.7 in both black and yes, #teamblue for my daily. surprised at the black jelly roll so now it’s in my jetpens cart. 😊
Such a fun watch! I really want to be a gel pen girl, but always go back to ballpoint!! I just can’t get my handwriting to look as good with a gel pen. I don’t understand it.
I am currently using the Zebra Blen Gel .7. I also enjoy the Sharpie S- gel in 1.0, the Sarasa .7. When I don’t want to use gel, I have been enjoying the Zebra Clickart for journaling. ❤
